  • Regardless if it was a GTR or not, the guy driving the skyline missed 3rd gear pretty bad. It's very noticeable if you listen. Now RHDmikes car was very fast top end and would have won on a clean race anyways.... but that is not the case here. Skyline gets the hole shot and is in the lead through 1st then mike, with I think it was 320whp on this run and weighing around 2700, catches up in 2nd and leaves him in 3rd due to miss shift

  • hey guy's. Can any one advise me, i have just bought an r32 gts t with a blown engine and dont know if i should go RB or SR! whats the difference? any help is welcomed.

  • FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH

GO THE SILVIA!!!!! FKN S13's RULE

  • Guys,

Please do your research before posting.

The SR20DET is a newer lighter engine then the RB20DET, the SR20DET makes just as much power and tourqe as the RB20DET and the S13 is a lighter car then the R32.

A standard S13 SR20DET will be quicker then a standard R32 RB20DET all day long. Alot of guys in japan put SR20DET into R32 as they can set it closer to the firewall and the car is better balanced and makes more power.

The only R32 that came with RB25 was a non turbo version.

  • ...but u gotta admit the rb26dett is still the best

  • Yeah it is, if you're plannin to be AWD.

  • @BearWithAx RB26/30dett is best u mean :P

  • alright lads. for your information, the r32 in the first three months of 1993 nissan put an rb25det into only a select few coupe skylines, to see how they would go compared to rb20det. in the begging period of the r33 the put the rb25det in as it was a superior motor to the rb20det. and also looks to me as if that skyline completly missed 3rd gear. as the 6 cylinder rb engine can out pull an sr20det from mid to high gear range.

  • Its pretty simple, putting all non turbo skylines asside, the r32 gtst came stock with an rb20det and the r33 was the first skyline to come stock with an rb25det. Hence gts25t written on the boot of them...

  • the last R32 skylines had the RB25 lump in them

  • nope. rb25de came in only 1 variant.

    rb20det came in gtst.

    rb26dett came in gtr

  • I agree with storm495

  • i a noob so can sumone enlighten me?

how can a 4 cylinder silvia stand a chance against practicly its big brother 6cylinder skyline?

  • If I had to guess I'd say probably the fact that it is a mainly stock GTST (RWD Single Turbo) 2.0L I6 vs a modded S13 (also RWD Single Turbo) 2.0L 4-cyl.

  • when did the gtst get the rb25? in the r33?

  • Think so

  • rb25 came out in the r32 but it was non turbo.

  • yup too right. well in new zealand atleast lol

  • rice

  • how does a R32 GTS-T have a RB25??? its a RB20

  • called an engine swap

  • yeah, that gts has an RB25, not the 20.

  • definately not a GTR lol

  • haha yea. r32 gtst w/ an rb20 i believe.
