Obama's plan is very similar to what's happening in Sweden or France, not very foolish or 'young' at all. In fact, a damn sight better than the US system. Take a look around the world at what works before you criticise him. His 'robbery' will aid millions and boost the US' productivity.

Wider healthcare cover means less people on long term sick leave. It also means less pressure on employers to shoulder the rising healthcare costs themselves. Therefore, businesses have a healthier workforce and less costs to bear. Therefore productivity will go up. Is that simple enough for you?
