In October 1994, I was visiting Prague and late one night walking back to my room, I came across a lit votive candle in a niche of a wall with a sprig of flowers and a photograph of President and Mrs. Kennedy. I cried. Even here in the former Eastern Europe President Kennedy was missed.

@willyjhopuky-Thank you (this is also Mugsysam-I can't get on that account anymore though grr).....she was....she's been gone for 6 years now and it's still just something to hear her voice and see her face again....this was in 1988 long before she passed, but this is actually how I remember her....

It is like the world stood still when JFK was killed. Everyone mourned him. The nonstop 3 day TV coverage was watched by everyone I knew.
Everyone cried, everyone was heartbroken. I was just a little child, but I remember.
