It just hit me in a flash that this song might have gotten Sid murdered. The NWO hated the Sex Pistols for exposing the defense industry machinations of the music industry. This music industry pumped out paranoid hits like "der kommissar" like the Ministry of Love. This song was a giant f you to a big defense industry player. So, they framed Sid for Nancy's murder, and gave him the option to off himself, which he took rather than drag Johnny and the band down with him. We're with you John!
