  • rest in peace Helio Gracie, OSU from Kuwait

  • changed the game.

  • The Great Grandmaster ! RIP sir !

  • Helio vai ser lembrado por seculos

  • musica fdp

  • Lots of RESPECT nice video thanks for sharing

  • Sakuraba the gracieKILLER-If this was 10years ago-Sakuraba would beat this gracie 2! What a shame, fight old sakuraba-but sakuraba is the man!

  • @666apekatt BUT he didnt beat him!!!!!LOL helio gracie is the shit!!!!!

  • He was the shit, hopefully someone will follow him to greatness and we'll have another Helio type person, we can only hope to see the dedication he brought to the world.

  • Helio Gracie would lose to Sakaruba? he was training into his 90's, Sakaruba is a mixed martial artist, take away strikes and he would be screwed at best, he's regarded as the best BJJ practitioner ever and is also a 6th Dan in Judo, face it Sakaruba at best could shoot to a single leg and get his arm broken, wrestling has fuck all on Judo or BJJ, both together would be unstoppable in grappling terms.

  • @Afflictionzv1 you make a good point and pretty realistic prediction. tho i do think sakuraba in his prime and helio gracie would be an amazing fight.(helio would obvs win)

ive been to jiujitsu competitions before and some of the guys competeing were clearly blackbelts in judo or had really good sambo,or even catch-wrestlers (like saku) but they compete as white belts and other beginner category's which is pretty sly and unfair. I agree though bjj and judo is a great combination.

  • No doubt a great fight, the only problem would be the length of the fight, Gracie perfected grappling, Sakaruba would have to seek other means of defeating him, because if Sakaruba made the mistake of going to the ground he wouldn't last long, Wrestling has a distince disadvantage to most of the other grappling arts, winning depends on pinning the opponant on his back, BJJ is about fighting into a submission position and neutralizing the opponants offense.

  • Great work making this video. Congratulations.
