so america (media) is bothered by a white comedian playing a black presidential nominee on tv with brownish makeup on his face instead of a black guy playing a black guy... i'm falling of my chair in disbelief laughing. if someone can create problems out of nothing it"s american media! well done.

She makes a great point, although I try to understand why SNL had to appoint an experienced comedian IN SNL to act out as OBAMA, there is a lot of risk in hiring a complete unknown and gambling the popularity of the show, WHICH, honestly is helping a lot of people swerve to either side of issues.
I personally prefer MadTV's Obama.

Last time I checked Obama was half white? Of course he only embraces the white side in front of a white audience and the black side if front of a black audience. He is nothing more than a flimflam man. NObama 08!!!

Do people realize that Obama is just as much white as he is black? I admit he acts more black when he speaks to the NAACP and more white when he speaks to the rich in the Northeast, but he is HALF, so...
oh yeah, one more thing...
why do black people always play the race card when colors are mentioned but don't mind if other races are mocked and made fun of? just innocently wondering... ;)

Well, I'm not a big fan of the term "race card," b/c it's very dismissive, especially when someone has a legitimate point. However, Black people many times have stood up for other races, so I wouldn't say they don't mind, but at the same time don't those races have representatives as well? I mean, it kinda defeats their point when Black people have to fight for Black rights as well as Asian, Latino, Arab, and White people all at once. Plus, you just can't compare their imagery to Blacks on TV.
