hey! Great video! I was thinking. Is this worth it? I'd like to make a hackintosh but i don't now if u have to get a small or a bigger (like i5 or i7 and a video cart) What can this machine run? En does it it fast? And with wich Apple machine is this compared to?
I Hear You Mention Pounds, Im Also From The UK, I Was Wondering Where You Buy Your Parts From, I Normally Use Scan.co.uk ,, But Aint Had Much Luck Finding The Motherboard Or Case, If You Give Me The Website, That Would Be Great!!
@TheUHMERICA This Intel Processor includes HD3000 graphics, so the "graphics card" to run two HDMI ports is built-in to the processor itself. HOWEVER, this Gigabyte board also has one 16x PCI-e port, so you can use 1 graphics card if you wanted to. :)
hi dude! nice vid! I have exactly the same parts but when I press the on button the pc start for about 3-4 seconds and then turn off. Can you help me? thank you!
@caiden59 which cables are you referring to? yes the all are. the power cable comes with the case. the blue sata cables come with the motherboard as it shows in the vid :D
@caiden59 yeah sure thing. i have an ebay store that sells a variety of hackintosh with free extras but for now i have only got these for sale but after xmas much more will be avalible like i5 and i7 mac pros. buyahackintosh.co.uk. check it out. any more questions?
great video, just built this exact system here in the states for about 350 usd including shipping -- or, ~ 225 pounds! it seems like the 1:1 dollar to pound pricing is true for official as well as unofficial apple products :)
@sulaiman49 no i actually followed the tonymac guide with some substitutions, happened to get the same parts as you have! as i started the build i searched around for guides, found yours to be helpful as it proceeds more or less in real time. i followed your guide (along with tonymac forums and lifehacker) and now have a beautifully working hack mini for 225 quid. very clear and instructive video, you should make others as projects come up :)

TheUHMERICA 4 weeks ago
@TheUHMERICA you dont need a graphics card as it uses the onboard graphics from the cpu and motherboard.and yes it supports HDMI
