The answer is his lecture was a deceitful attempt at recruiting for the BK doomsday cult, a cult that has made dozens of doomsday predictions. And it wasn't just that comment, the material used to promote the lecture was full of lies. Claims Lee was a psychologist and numerous other claims that were by his own admission false.
I did not want to say anything bad of Lee James. I don't know him but I want to correct the picture that was formed by him about the Brahma Kumaris. Maybe he was only having a bad day at that date.

BK websites seem to hide the fact they think Dada was Shiva. They also hide the muris from the public, which means people joining don't have enough information to make an informed decision.

They never have thought Dada was Shiva. You are mistaken. Lech Raj (Dada) was the soul of Krisna and was like Adam. Shiva never takes a body ever so cannot be Dada. (except temporarily like a ship in the night). When the murli was spoken it was not Dada speaking. The Murlis are now available online by the PBKs.

But some does not understand very well what He is teaching. And there are also souls that do not want to change their neg. behaviour completely. Or did not finish transforming it yet. You sould be mercyful with the speaker, go and take the 7-days-course of the BK and write your article afterwards :-) Because then you really know what they are teaching and maybe you can understand it better. These expressions cannot be from one who sticks very closely to the BK and take it serious. Because Brahma Kumaris and Kumars DO know it. It is God who gives them so much knowledge about this topics, gives it everyone who wants to know.
But the leading souls of BK are so much more experienced in going there and they have become so much purer than others now, that it's easy for them to have this long, true contact to Shiva Baba. It's a thing of having pure thoughts and practice to connect with him and getting "messages". It's nothing but speaking to a friend or father or teacher. But our thoughts have become very distortet with wrong ideas, e.g. about God that it it takes time to see clearly again.

Personnally I don't think this guy is prayed by the brahma kumaris, because I know the institution very well. I don't know personnaly BK Lee James Doomsday but my feeling is that is acting under is own initiative and try to recrut people by scaring them. I'm sure he is paid by the BK. Soon after the lecture I had an arguement with a member, Lee James was visiting a Korea on a tourist visa when he gave teh lecture and I told the member I was thinking about reporting him to immigration... I didn't, but wish i had! Anyway, the member said he was a great man who travels the world for free preaching the BK gospel... that led me to believe he is getting paid. If he isn't he's either very rich, or an idiot. He certainly isn't the man his CV claims.
All he said whas what he believes which is that there will be big changes in the world - they are his beleifs not necisarrily the remainder of the 800,999 bks around the world!

And he was speaking on behalf of BK, the event was a recruitment drive for his cult.
They are the beliefs of the BK leadership, if you haven't heard them, it's because they keep their real beliefs hidden.
