  • i have had my GH drums for metallica over 6 months and my blue pad recently had broke because the wire to the censer had fell off

BTW: you guys play way to hard if they break that quickly

PS: i am 13 and i play on expert with double bass and rarely fail

  • GHWT drums suck

  • unlucky man.. see, i dropped mine down a set of cement steps.

  • okay, here is what to do.Open the drum set, find the red pad, and if the wires are already out, scrape off the glue, and re-solder the wires. If they are not already off, pull them out, and then remove glue and solder.then, hot glue over the solder, let sit for approx5 minutes to ensure dry and connected, but the st back together and and everything should be fine.

  • My yellow cymbal came broken.

  • Allright, i'm not kidding: This happended to me hell lot of times! Just split the drumset and make it again. Worked me trust me!

  • i have the world tour set and my red and blue yellow green all work. my cymbal is demolished and the wires were broke so the orange wouldnt work.

  • man im afraid of that happens

im gonna buy my drums soon i think

  • u gta take it apart and solder wires

  • rockband is being played on the tv...

  • yes, so?

  • what's so intresting about watching a non-working GH drum being played

  • hahahahahahaha

  • Achievement Unlocked:Broken Red Pad

  • dude get some strong tape,

you just need to tape the wires back to where theyre meant to be, i'm really annoyed with activision, they can't even make some drumkits....I'm gonna buy the IONs

  • I bought an ION kit in January, stripped my GHWT drums for all but the brain and throw them out. Now i can play with real pedals and after time replace my ION kit for some better electronic drums :)

  • same here! I took off the red pad and its realy hard to fix and I can't fucking do it! Anyone know how to fix it?

  • look u guys drum set r all fucked up cuz i still have mine since christmas and still works perfect and i hit it hardcore

  • just open it up and the wires need to be attched

  • sooo weird my red did the same this a couple of weeks ago!!!! neversoft is peice of shit ... with the Guitar Hero World Tour Drum Set they just through some stuff together

  • same happened 2 me on the portalbe drums

  • Comment removed

  • No, Rock Band uses the Red, Blue and green pads, along with the Yellow one. The only one not used is the Orange one, since its not supported.

  • same thing happen 2 me

  • the wire from my red pad keeps disconnecting, that is the main problem. i soldered it but then it came off again. i do not know what material they use to keep the wires in place, i need some help.

    please comment back

  • happned to me so i just took back to shops gave me a new one straight away

not sure if they would do it if u shop sumwhere else but mine works good now :)

  • happened to my friends orange cymbal pad

  • it happened to me on the orange pad....

  • that shit happened to me to

  • Dude same thing happend to my drum set. Just open the drum set go to the red pad and glue the cord back on. When your done try not to hit it so hard.

  • hey can u play the ghwt drums for rock band. and is it by order or color?

  • yes you can do every thing you can do with a regualr set but the orange cymble wont wrok because theres no track for it.

  • yea...for 360 they are all coordinated with each other...which is good cuz the les paul is the best guitar, the strum bar is too flemsy on all the other guitars

  • same issue, but i open it up and looked at it and it seemed like the cable was fine but the black cable was broken inside the white glue thingy. so i just used some tape and taped it back on the sensor and then i tried it and now it works better then it was new =) so open it up and check your cables

  • I have same probs nad its not sesitiviety probs, cause it doesnt read full stop so ya have to send it back for new one

    FUCK ACTIVISION

  • thankyou for that pointless video...

  • jus go to walmart, buy a new band kit. Take out the new drums, put these craps in the box, and while returning say the red one doesn't work.

    immoral? probably...but who cares

and next time don't hit it so hard

  • lol did the same thing with the rockband drums...:)

  • why did you filmed it?

    coincidence...

  • u probably hit it to hard mine works perfectly

  • Yeah same happened to mine. when they put it together they didn't get a good contact on the piezo sensor so I cut the wire touched it to the sensor....works fine

  • your a dumb ass the red drum does not work on rock band retard

  • yeah it does idiot!

  • yeah, it's the orange pad that won't work.

  • Same thing happened to me.

  • HEHE, SUCKS TO BE YOU

  • the wires probly ripped out of the sensor. you will have to take the drums apart and solder the wires back on.

  • my red pad broke too...the rest are fine but the red wont work...I got the complete band thing from best buy online...anyone know how to get it fixed for free? Thanks

  • Go on the redoctane website and get a replacement, All you need is the serial number on your drums, Thats underneath the batteries.

  • Did that and nearly 2 months later, no replacement in sight.

  • Really? That kinda sucks, You tried contacting them yeah?

I requested a Tuning cable and got it like 2 days later, Alot smaller than a full kit though, UK too.

Did you buy it online yeah? i'd try getting a replacement from the place you bought it if you haven't already.

  • @ johnyz250f102, Open it up and re solder the wires on the red pads sensor. Takes like 5 minutes.

  • how come every sensitivity issue i see is for XBOX 360? hmmmmmmm?

  • This inst a sensitivity issue, the drum pad is 100% broken.

  • get it replaced? i did

  • replaced?

  • Still waiting on a replacement, its nearly been 1½ month since i requested it, its nowhere in sight.

  • i took mine to the shop in person (even though i got it off the internet) just take ur invoice and they will replace it for you, if you call ahead

  • I have sensitivity issues for the wii with only the red drum... I can't figure out how to fix it and I'm not replaycing it

  • activision are giving away free cables and software that fix sensitivity

  • my crash cymbol did that, but after a while of re connecting and disconnecting it it worked again. but i guess you can't do that with red blue and green

  • is that rock band 2?

  • no guitar hero world tour

  • Yep same thing with me, my red pad doesn't always react o.o

  • ummmmmm wtf r u guys doin your not meant to SMASH THE SHIT out of it ive had mine for nearly a week and its all in good working order

  • the cable wont help my red pad is broke and the sensitivity thing doesnt fix it. And after taking it apart i found no problems with loose wires or connectors, mine is just flat out broke! and activision support sucks and is taking forever, but apparently theyre giving out free postage for the shipments now

  • my blue pad broke..

  • order the midi cable on the website for free and download the bdrum tuner to change the sensitivity

  • Mine got broke too in 5 hours. What should I do?

  • ive had mine for 4 days mine hasne tbroke yet you guys r hitting too hard or twisring it dumbass

  • my red pad is just a lot less sensitive. i have to beat the shit out of it but it works. that much just break it though.

  • mine broke the day i fuckin got it (xmas day)

  • some problem red pad is broken after 2 day :(

  • same thing happened to me the wire on th ered pad snaped

  • yeah the ghwt drums are very unreliable...thats why i have rock band 2

  • dont notice something wierd.if your have rb2 you should notice thats what hes playing.the tv screen is rb2 not ghwt

  • he's playing rock bamd which doesmt have 5 buttons

  • GHWT was a rip. I am starting to think

  • More complaints with Rockbands Drum kit.. So Its up to you.

  • rock band 2. its an insanely fun game to play. plus dlc is a lot cheaper.

  • wat dick

  • the same thing happened to me now im calling everywhere trying to find an address other than a PO box because it is too big to send to a PO. Fuck u redoctane

  • the same thing happened to me. i knocked mine over though. i took it apart and some little wires got bumped out

  • damn that sucks

  • use the midi cable to fix it it might have sensivity problems :)

  • I've tried, doesn't work.

  • welll i think you have to return it to the store i hope you change the game :p

  • Maybe he should just play GH with the GH game?

  • maybe but i got another mod, hecan unscrew all the screws and pull the red pad wires a little bit, i did that and it worked perfectly :)

  • my red just broke fuken gayyy only 2 days of using

  • same thing happened to me its an easy fix all u have to do is unscrew the back and soder the red or black wire back on hell if u want to u can tape or glue it back on

  • None of my instruments have broken after 2 weeks of lots of play ^^

  • thats weird ive had the drums for like 2 weeks now and mine havent broke a bit

  • my red pad broke after 1 day

  • my orange cymbal broke in 3 hours of play

  • I had the same broblem. I returned the whole package to the company I bought it and they gave new set for me. Hopefully the new set will last more than 2 days.
