@onesummernight65. I am so sorry for your loss and I thank your husband for his sacrifice. I agree that our country came up wanting when it came to nam vets.
my beautful blue eyed husband is on this 50,000 wall, to this day i miss what we shared even for only those few years together, two beautiful daughters , one never getting to be held by her daddy, our country has not been that greatful to Vietnam veterans either. My news came to me on Mothers Day May 1970, One day I'll be by his side again. Such agreat lost of lives to all of the families, this song says it all.
Please tell us his name so that we can honor his service and his sacrifice. May God bless him and bring him into Eternal Happiness on the Last Day. Your brother died all those years ago for all of us who live in Liberty today...
Thank you for your condolences on the loss of my brother in Vietnam. His name was Sergeant Kenneth Eugene Burch. He is actually mentioned by name in two books I know of, maybe others, LRRP Company Command and LRRP-Rangers In Vietnam. Thanks again.
Please allow me to thank your brother for his service through you, and Thank You, Mr. Burch, for your service to our country. Both of you have done our nation proud...
If this doesn't bring antear to your eyes or some sort of empthy.... you wil never understand what this war was about. Senseles and insane and those names carved in that wall I have touched many, many of them Your heart breaks. Mine did.
Saw Jamie O'Hara on a show called 'Legends' hosted by Loretta Lynn (I think) years ago. Has remained one of my favorite songs and still causes me to cry when I think about the sacrifices made in Vietnam. Salute to you for posting it and salute to all who served as well as those who lost a loved one.

For us who knew some on this wall, this song is sort of a tribute to them.
