  • grandissimo little steven!!!

  • Yes, it is Jerry Roslie. I was there that night. The best ever !!!!!

  • Is it Gerry Rosalie singing? He was, "The White Little Richard" and their original singer.

  • Do these guys really have two drummers playing?

  • Yes! Ricky Lynn Johnson, the current drummer, and Bobby Bennett, the original drummer.

  • I saw them to that song in 1965 at the Target Ballroom in Burien [South of Seattle], a couple times.

They were a local band, but they were better than the national acts that played there.

I would stop chasing girls and just stand in front of the band.

I did not do that for any other bands.

  • Go, Larry, GO!!!

  • You know The Sonics??? You're so lucky! How??

  • I work for them.

  • What an honor that must be. They really inspired little garage rock bands like us to keep going and have a good time =)

  • OFMG! You SO need 2 come play Penticton (BC) The south interior (aka Palm Springs N, retirement capital of Canada) is SO starved 4 GREAT music like this! Some good 30sec local radio ads, u would sell out in a HEARTBEAT & not just 1 show!! All these retired baby boomers GREW UP on this music as did many of their kids who've migrated back to this mini paradise. Fuk playing Kelowna. They would drive the 50 min EASY to see these guys play here, anyway. PLeez come!

  • You're right! Little Steven = Steven Van Zandt = Silvio Dante :)

  • is it Steven Van Zandt who plays the guitar? the little guy from the e street band, fucking awesome!

  • dirty, dirty rock musik...love it

  • that's so fucking kick ass.

  • Thx for the great LL. and the Sonics--cant believe the energy of this band.Grew-up in East. Wash. and loved there stuff

  • I was there, it was incredible. They were so loud!!!!

  • Dam, should have gone! Thanks for the post.

  • Wish I coulda' gone

  • WOOO!!!

    THEY STILL SOUND MEAN!

  • I'm instantly transported to The Red Carpet, South Tacoma Way, circa 1966! At last we can share the best-kept musical secret in Pacific Northwest history: The Sonics did the most kick-ass version of "Louie, Louie" ever heard anywhere. And this video proves the boys still got it, even a few triple by-pass operations later.

  • do you have more!!!!need more!!!
