It's not that she can't sing, people. It's a difference in tone. His tone is very straight and subtle. Her tone is very different from his, but she has the tone of a singer from the 50s, which makes it more difficult to blend. She clearly has musical talent but they just don't sound good together. If you don't like her voice, perhaps her voice is an acquired taste. I thought her voice was interesting at first, but I adapted to it, and I love her music. You really should give her a chance.
