you use the layering option. each layer can be controlled then within it's own environment and won't change anything on the other layers when you're working on it.
You have to download photoshop. If thats what you're asking. Im not sure where to go to find the program but I know you have to download it. Sorry I couldnt help more.

It's a fair question...yes I have and no, the effect just doesn't look any good (on very dark skin). You really need to apply a different technique that is used for "clown & mime" style makeup. Keep watching!
I don't think it matters too much on what picture it is. If you select the face shape and the right saturations, it should work almost the same way. Just go with your feel while using this as a guideline
