I did ALOT of mdma when I was younger back in 1999-2001. 2-3 times a week for over a year (2-5 pills each night). I havent done it that much since then, maybe 5 times (not any in the past 6 years), and I am quite normal. No negative effects on my brain. I still have a high learning curve, and function great. I don't see a need for this to be a Schedule 1 drug.
in my 20's I did alot of x, like 2-3 nights a week, multiple pills. Never good pills pure mdma was rear. It was crushin, snortin, eatin alot pills per night. Im now 30 diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I dont blame the drug use. It didn't help the MS but didn't cause it. My Neurologist told me she could differentiate the MS lesion's found on my brain in the MRI scan from the drug abuse ones that where there.

Although the drug class 1 may be unwarranted a huge number of methodologically strong studies have proven both slight and serious impairments in psychobiological functions. Both first time and regular users can be affected, ecstasy is by no means a safe drug although and in my opinoin shouldn't be legal, it doesnt warrant the class 1 category.

If you don't think it should be legal you don't really care about improving the safety of this substance for users. Back in the early 80's when it was legal and pure it was causing no health or social problems.

They are a membership-based non-profit that was created with the sole purpose of getting the government to provide MDMA as legal prescription drug. Their founder, Rick Dobin, has a doctorate in Public Policy; he is not a doctor or a researcher. He's a stoner who wants his drug of choice to be legal. Safety is a non issue here.

If you have watched this full film you saw the parts were it was showing 25000 people at Raves on Ecstasy multiple times. So with the 1.8 million people who tried ecstasy for the first time last year and the other 5 million(estimation, its probably more) who have been using it, only 22 have ever died from it and only 2 out of those were on ecstasy alone. 2 out of 6.8M. If funding sources would let scientists be independent in their research and if they would fund 'truth' as opposed to funding what they *want* to see, then we all might get more accurate information -- about such things as the effects of certain drugs all the way to global warming. However, if the funding source has a preconceived bias or other motivations for certain results, it is very difficult to trust the results of the science they fund. It's the old 'you get what you pay for'.

I just think everyone reacts differently to MDMA/Ecstasy, based on their family history and if they are prone to cancers and other health disorders.

He later grew up and dropped the drug he goes to the doctor and the doctor tells him the reason why he feels depressed and doesnt feel joy or laughter is because of the abuse he did to his brain. His brain is basically short circuited for life. His brain doesnt know when to release certain chemicals to produce Joy,laughter ect. E is not worth it and my friend can tell you himself.
