I disliked these Scimitars. I went through 3 pairs in three months. I burned through the heel way too quickly. There's also no cushioning on the heel!

I just paid £500 for my equipment but i still need to buy a lame and fencing shoes...
What type of shoe would you recommend Guitarist?

If you have the money, and are serious about the sport, I would go with Leon Paul shoes.
What I have heard about the Scimitars and the Blades, is that the soles are the same, but the padding and such are different.
To me, all that mattered was the sole.
So if you're willing to spend the money,
the Leon Paul shoes are the best in my opinion.
