3 questions- does the phone automatically lock to prevent accidental key presses in your pocket? if so, what is the unlock procedure (slide to unlock like the iPhone or press a combination of buttons)?

yes it automatically locks after a while... and you push the start button on the top to unlock it... or slide to unlock... and you can install a program that let you unlock the phone with a combination or whatever... no it does not display a clock but i got a program called SPB Time that shows me the time even if its locked...

i installed microsoft voice command today and man is that the coolest app i have ever seen... its freakin awesome! for everyone who is going to buy this phone or have a winmo its a definitive must to install!! "how does it work?" well if you say play amy macdonald it starts the media player and plays amy macdonald... and if i say call peter it calls peter... so you dont have to do any voice recordings... and you can start any program by just saying start opera or contacts...

yeah probably you gotta keep in mind that this is a pocket PC with a phone feature... so PC + Windows = the more programs you put in the phone the slower it gets. and if you have programs running in the background it will get slower too.

Quick questions cuz I noticed you mentioned Coreplayer in your video. Have you tried any high resolution videos with the phone using the Sony player or coreplayer? I know you played the Bond trailer but what resolution was the video? On the Touch Pro I can only manage Half VGA (480x360) videos with no huge stuttering shown and at vga it cant handle.

What about the x1? Can it handle 800x480 videos easily?

well i put prom night on the phone its not 800x480 but it was 684x276 with 23.9 in frame rate... then i tried Ross Kemp in Afghanistan in HD and that didnt work but i will keep trying and see what the maximum resolution is...
