Been a fan since '79, & I love this. But you can see why he retired so soon. He looks so self conscious... The can of coke was a prop, he just didnt know what to do with himself for the ending of Cars... Even his walk is a little awkward. Bless him, he is and always will be a legend, but he must have dreaded playing all these shows in the early years! Not now though

I can still remember the band lineup here, Chris Payne & Roger Mason inside the columns on keys, Rrussell Bell on Guitar, keys etc. Cedric Sharpley on drums, and the late Paul Gardner on bass. What a blast from my past!!!

The reason why the tune is going too fast is probably because this footage was transferred from a super-8 film made with less frames per second in order to save the limited recording time. Those films only lasted for about 3 minutes or so.

Those weren't the digicam times of course.

No, in 1980 people there were not yet VHS camcorders, so it must be transferred from a Super-8 film, which was the standard filmtype for amateur equipment.
