Beautiful house. So many westerners and retiring OFW's retiring in the Philippines as Western countries like the US and Europe are becoming too expensive and the quality of life sucks b/c of all the welfare loosers and illegals. I'm moving to the Philippines as soon as I can. Hopefully Subic Bay.
Crazy man if you dont have money, shut up, only a guy like you who dont have money cant buy it. This is sold already last year pa, a man who is capable to buy cant say negative words againts this house. Maybe you are living in a mud hut so wala kang magandang masabi, kasi wala kang millions na ikabili.
maganda lang sa labas bagong pintura,e yung pintura pang ginamit ay lead paint nakakalason yung mga hollow block na ginamit e gawa sa lupa katiting na cement kaya pag kinarati ng 4 years old baby durog agad, yung mga rebar made in CHINA kayang baluktutin ng 7 years old na bata at pag umulan nawawala ang bahay pagtigil ng ulan unti unting lumilitaw parang ghost kaya ingat kayo sa mga balasubas na REALTOR MGA MANLOLOKO YAN.

this house was priced for Php 18M or $391K in todays exchange rate. too few filipinos have $391K laying around and few filipinos can afford a financing for that amount. real estate in phils. is saturated with high price homes but very few buyers. it is unwise to invest in real estate in the phils. if there is a scarcity of buyers. yes you can sell one like this but not right away. it may be in the market listings for years and that's not a good if you're an investor or come down in price.
Thisi s designed like Dallas TV soap or Falcon Crest type or in the US movies that the Phils watch so they design them along those lines and as someone has said over price them. They do not fit the climate or the environment and look horrible like TOONTOWN
@vkajun Sold? they are very welcome to it but unfortunately that house is NOT worth that money if you read here many comments on this subject on people who are experienced in Real estate around the world you will learn from it. the building standards in the phils are at best moderate and at worst crap I have been in and out of the phils for 23yrs and am amrried to a Philippine citizen alos have bought several houses in my life so I know what I am talking about as others here also do.
Yes if you dont have money to buy, then shut up, only people who cant afford are the ones full of negative comments. It is sold already, hang-gang tingin ka lang.
@mrandmrsjwhitney : yes it is! most properties in the philippines are over priced! in that country, price is subjective. no such thing as appraised value...market value is what people think they can sell their house for hoping somebody stupid will come and pay that price...and in fact only stupid people who does not know anything about real estate investing does. the U.S. is still the best place to invest even though the U.S. economy right now is in a slump.
@gandangpuki last time i check, not all people in this world are living in th US. i have a property in the states and in the philippines and i think your assessment of the philippine's real estate is unfair and uncalled for. so pls stop insulting filipinos for making an investment in the philippines in real estate and by making such remark about over priced and "no such thing as appraised value".
@MrYoda1972 of course not! no it's not a matter of insult, it's a reality. who can afford a Php 3M house when per capita income of that country is Php10K/mo? or about $200/mo. and that's a fact! what you have there now is market saturation! too many properties available too few buyers. easy to buy if you decide to live there but it's hard to get rid off for a decent profit. some subdivision lands are selling but only few houses are built "SPECULATING" they can make huge profit.
@ganymedeIV4 I have seen coastal houses like this and do you know what they do? take the sand for the cement STRAIGHT off the beach and make up the cement!!!!
@WELLBRAN Thats nuts, but i guess engineering standards aren't the best in that country from what you say. i just wonder if land slides would...well.. affect that house.
@ganymedeIV4 landslides in RP is nothing new! in fact there were a few that happened not too long ago and people died. no, i don't think they analyze the soil if it's suitable to build. developers would pick a sellable spot and boom!...you got a subdivision. how many of these houses are built with substandard materials? if you don't have you're own architect and project engineer you're shit out of luck. a lot of contractors are known to take shortcuts hence substandard buildings! BEWARE!
@ganymedeIV4 if you do not have you're own architect and your own project engineer "BEWARE". some contractors are known to take shortcuts for bigger profit and you can end up with a substandard infrastructure. landslides that happened years ago did collapsed houses in fairview, qc and other parts of manila and baguio too, substandard buildings! most high price subdivisions don't have no houses, SPECULATORS bought lots hoping to cash in at huge profit. hence unestablish/ghost town neighborhood!
