Come on people, grow up, both were tragic and both were easily avoidable. I'm sure the stages aren't assembled thinking there's any possibility they could fall down. Sometimes there's forces of nature beyond our control and Ottawa and Indiana were certainly a result of that.

The only saving grace of this collapse is that instead of it falling straight down, it was sort of hinged by the vertical supports and fell backwards. I heard at least one person was critically injured. I hope that person pulls through. Cheap Trick had a guardian angel, I think they escaped injury. QUALITY CONTROL and safety apply to every endeavor in life, let stage constructors take a lesson from this to improve future work. Prepare for Murphy's Law. Also take weather into consideration.

The stage collapsed yes, there was a tornado warning and there was a tornado in the upper valley (Gatineau point). Only 3 people got injured and no one died! The band had juste enough time to get off the stage. It isn't the first timr that stagr collapse.. It collapsed also in 2009 at a music festival in Quebec City!
