What do they mean by "work"? If you disregard all other factors (visual for instance) and ask someone to choose only between various scents.. Well, maybe they work. But it has no application in real life! Otherwise pheromones would be in every store right next to coke. What matters is whether there is any factor which is decisive in human mating, which is subconsciously taken into account before all others. This most important attraction trigger are facial features. And I don't mean "beauty"!

It does work. This is a useless experiment, pheromones aren't supposed to smell nice, they are naturally excreted in sweat and urine. What they do is make individuals perceive you differently, if you are secreting allot of sex pheromones then women will inhale them and cause a chemical reaction which leads to different feelings, even arousal, and she will associate them with that individual.

Pheromones DO help you attract girls.... as long as you notice THEIR pheromones and compliment them on it after making out and kissing their necks. A few risque compliments go a long way combined with a badass confidence. pheromones = sexual = bold. A girl with attractive pheromones is a sex beast. This experiment is fun, but is not very well planned out.

Using a larger sample would be more representative of the population, since each individual is different.

Smelling one test subject after another without neutralizing the woman's nose causes inaccurate results bc the smells will tend to mix and so what she smells in #2 and #3 will be a mixture of the prior scents. You could neutralize her nose by making her sniff coffee beans after each test subject.

Natural pheremones are a better indicator. We are attracted to the smell of people with different genes that reflect the immune system. It's because if we breed with someone with a different immune system, our children will ave a more selective mix and a better chance of survival. It's an adaptive advantage.

Why were all the guys in one room? The smells from each of the fragrances could have overlapped & convoluted the stimuli.

Why use only one girl? It's like using 1 flip of a coin to see it's fair or not.

What if the guy had different levels of natural pheromones? We know people are individually different. How much each individual differs in regards to pheromones they are producing could affect the outcome!

As much as I liked the video I can't help but note how statistically insignificant the experiment was. Episode 2 used multiple women to rate the attractiveness of the colors while only a single soul was used in this case. This was done in reference to the same study in Brainiac. So just one girl was used. Points are noted and we'll definitely have more of a control group next time. (Though please bare in mind I usually have to pay for the volunters. And I'm really not made of money. The sorority helped int he previous episode.
