Completely same sound between ใอ and ไอ

It is for writing, in Thai there are just only 20 words using ใอ.

Now Thai are think that two is completly same but, in fact while they were made it they made that

ไอ = อา + อี or อะ + อิ  ( ai )

ใอ = อา + อื or อะ + อึ ( aω)

But now less than 5% of Thai people know about this.
