  • why is he teaching rudiments on a djembe? sure its nice to know, but he should be teaching djembe not snare hahaha

  • Step by step instructions are sometimes required to connect the heart to the brain...these videos are so perfect for someone like myself. I love music, and I have an excellent ear for it...However, there is NO WAY I could ever figure out how to make such beautiful patterns with my own hands. My brain isn't built for freestyle, I need instructions... Thank you so much for these videos that explain instead of just show...please don't let the critics inhibit your instruction. You're awesome.

  • remo really sucks...come on you call this a djembe...stop talking and start listening

  • Hi - just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to make this video. As a lover of the Djembe I find that I learn different skills from different teachers so all tips are good tips. So thanks - Djembe love xx

  • I JUST LOVE THAT PAN! Is it a Tefal? Sorry, i just ldon't like plastic with srew-thingies... Prefer wooden ones of course.

  • lol this video is a joke ???

  • @bouns78 Yes this video is a joke, but the unfortunate part is that people who watch it think it is serious, unless they already know what djembe playing is.

  • Ummmm.....why in the world do you fill up the WHOLE video with a paragraph of words? Usually ppl put that in the space BELOW the video, so that the audience can actually SEE what's going on.

  • Echt goed. Als Timmerman dit hoort krijgt ie een nervous breakdown en stopt met die kuttent!

  • Aaron Moon, what are you doing? you are misrepresenting a music that you have obviously never studied and you are embarrassing yourself in doing so. stop applying these rudiments to the djembe, it doesn't need to be improved upon!

  • @Judahdiah What are you talking about? Who's trying to improve "upon" the djembe? This guy is just teaching basic techniques designed in order to train the brain to control the hands independantly. (which is basically what drumming is all about: limb independence)

I learned both the flams and paradiddles when I started playing drums. Its not only a great warmup exercise, but also helps maximize your hand-/stickcontrol.

You try them and then tell me you were better without them.

  • @stringed48 thanks, no talkers, just doers

  • @stringed48 well hallelujah for your justtification, as a fellow educator i cannot disagree with that, different strokes for different folks, true that for my taste i want to see the hands with a good beat done in slow motion slower motion and then the actual speed, and just that without many words works wonders, question is how many learners are more like me?

  • expertvillage=expertshit

  • Great starter video, thanks for making it.

  • this guy is a nice guy and plays fine but i find that guys who talk alot cannot teach drums as well as t hose that dont explain so much verbally and just play the drum, since talking is too rational while the drum experience has to do with tuning into that other side of the brain that has nothing to do with speech patterns or verbal descriptions, you may keep this in mind in further instruction so that you play more rythms with less explanations so the players can concentrate on the rhythms only

  • this guys is talking out his assssssssssssssssssss.wtf.he can prob sell 1000 drums, but stop trying to teach this crap bro

  • @flyinghotwing ....better if this guy mustnt teach the basic, all is wrong here..

  • consternant.... il est temps que je mette des vidéos de cours avec Thomas Guei en ligne !!!

  • 2 -1/5

  • How the f*** this video has over 100 000 views and a video with Adama Drame playing hasn't but a little more than 3000?????????

    Who's the expert?

  • This has more hits for two reasons. One is that is an Expert Village vid and so people natuarlly navigate to it from other EV links but also because it's a teaching tool, whereas Drame's vids are master level jams that the beginnig-average drummer can't play along with or learn much from. It's like a novice guitar player tryingf to learn by watching a Steve Vai video.

  • maybe cause, he doesn't offer drum lessons :-)

  • the "taps" are more of a rebound, when you are playing rudiments conventionally, with sticks, on, like, a snare drum. Here we are in a grey area. There is so much more in the heritage of a djembe drum. This is what us western white guys need to realize. Then you will know where the "racist" comments are coming from. See Jon Sabon's video "How to Play African Drums: Why People Play African Drums." Nameste.

  • I LOVE Jon Sabon's videos awesome!!

  • sorry its iooss420 and he is still a prick lol

  • @WestCoastRedneck69 Hey buddy yea sorry i havnt been around i have a life and ive been busing traveling the country. Im glad you remembered me cause i acutally forgot about this. I dont feel the need to record anything to show you. You are simply not worth my time. I never once said i was a professional only that i get lessons by such great people. You need to chill brother. Music is about love you seem to have lost your way. I play music live for the people around me. I love you chill out :)

  • @iooss420 ha ha yer so funny...nice try with the being so busy bit and the I love you stuff...maybe you are right I should chill...but you threw down the gauntlet to more than just me when you stated you would show us how it should be done the forgetting about this? You obviously did not because you blocked our comments. Your statement about not feeling the need to show me is moot...the fact you go out of your way to slam people who put individualistic stuff out there when youdonot have theballs

  • Comment removed

  • @WestCoastRedneck69 This guy. Hey i have found my peace because yes i have been traveling this country and seeing amazing things. Im all about sharing music but i have nothing to offer you right now. Im in NY all of my drums are in California i have no recordings of me as of this second and as i stated i dont have to prove to you or anyone what i am capable of. I sorry you have a hard on for me. I never blocked anyones comments i dont even use this youtube account ever.

  • @WestCoastRedneck69 Also this is this guys thread not yours . You have some serious ego issues. Like i said I love you brother more than you can imagine you need it. I hope you find your way. Im done wasting my time with this. I was different person when i first commented on this. I still believe paradiddles play no part in learning how to play a Djemebe. Ask any "professional" first hand. I have been playing drums since the 4th grade and im 26 now. Believe me i have nothing to prove to anyone:)

  • @iooss420I still wanna hear your music...ego issues? Not me, as far as you being a different person now? It sounds like it and you sound like a person I might like...I have played since the fifth grade and now am a boss in construction and do not have the luxury of playing drums for a living. More power to you. When you say you do not feel the need to show us your abilities you are allowing the judgemental community of youtube to read between the lines...that can be hazardous

  • @WestCoastRedneck69 I understand completely where you are coming from . two years ago i was an arrogant fucked hooked on pain killers. I was pissed at the world. I saw this video and it just pissed me off ya know? I really have changed and found peace with myself. i dont play drums for a living at all. Drumming is something fun i do when i have free time. Seriously im nothing special but can play and im solid in the pocket.

  • @WestCoastRedneck69 I dont need the you tube communitys approval for anything. I dont even go on youtube anymore its a waste of time to me. It sucks you next thing you know youve been looking at videos for 5 hours. Unfortunatly for me all my drums are in a storage bin in San Diego. im counting the days til i get back and i can take a hit of L go to the beach with my djembe my boy and his 12 string and enjoy the sounds. There is no need for you to waste your energy on me friend.

  • Comment removed

  • @iooss420 Wow...now the truth comes out, we just had the sorry luck of butting heads. I dont have ego issues, bro just anger issues and a touch of ADD...lol...I remember shit years later and its all new again go figure...and lately I lost my temper at work and they promoted me to construction management...wierd uh? Best of luck to you with your music and your boy, and if I ever win the lotto maybe I can have a J with you and play some drums and have a good laugh about this all

  • He sucks but damn does he have a good heart, he just wants to share so don't be mean please!

  • he is patapon

  • Thanks a lot! Good tips.

  • Teach meh, teach meh, teach meh, teach meh teacher. Teach I and I African teacher. Me nah go be laaaate, I always early

  • Relax, it's only mis-titled. It should be "how to play rudiments on a hand drum"

With that, it's ok since the drum is not a real djembe but an imitation/fiberglass djembe, and this is not the technique for playing a real one anyway.

If i want to stamp & bang my fists on a piano, that's not WRONG if I'm playing avant-garde experimental music & it's not appropriation because the piano isn't from my country - but it ain't "how to play the piano"

  • its not a djembe its a bougarabou, and who cares if u dont like it may be make a better one........turnip

  • This video is great! This guy shares his knowledge in a useful way.I think it´s PATHETIC those unjustified critics. This proves how some people don't even respect good willed people. Those who call others "Racist" all the time, are usually the most aggressive, violent and dictatorial towards their own race when getting their freedom back . Reading things like that shows they don't accept others as equals. When one of my black friends who plays "European Classical Music" posts a video I LOVE IT

  • It's not that black and white.

  • Or we could look at the video for the basic rudiments it presents for all percussionists.

Oh and Native Americans Deserve more from america than Africans ever did.

You're in a great country and not in that shit hole anymore. Be real, you could never make it out there no matter how black you are.

  • u fuckin suck u should just leave it 2 the africans white apressor

  • This guys crap!

  • I love to hear drummers chant while beating. You should try it some time.

  • So nice to see you play and have fun with AFRICAN drums.

  • Comment removed

  • DONT HATE! Post and share what you know.

  • He is teaching what European culture created, rudimental drumming. He's applying what he knows, his musical heritage, to other instruments. He's not pretending to know anything about African drumming, or saying that he's teaching your culture or has usurped your heritage. I guess he is playing 'your' drum, but imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. So raise up off the dude's nut sac a little.

  • Comment removed

  • You think this video was made because of a race issue? I think he found something unique and valuable and powerful in another culture and wanted to show his admiration for it by sharing what he's discovered. This video's trying to share & promote the drum, but I see a lot of comments from people trying to bring down or control other people's music, trying to tell them that it's wrong and what it should be. Think about who's displaying arrogant and oppressive behavior in this situation.

  • If the real intention were to share this he would be posting it differently...like having a person from that culture playing it and talking about it, but he presents himself all full of knowledge about this instrument and the way it is played....It is just a habit of always taking credit for something done by someone else---the same that was done by Dr. Christian Barnard to Dr. Hamilton Naki ..."Until lions have their historians, tales of the hunt shall only glorify the hunter".

  • I agree with bennettovnikolai, especially about racism and sharing. I notice you've switched to a higher register since your previous comments (Deleted?) but the tune remains the same. What he's sharing is his experience with the drum; he's sharing himself. Who should do that for him? Again, I bid you look at yourself. Either you're from South Africa (In which case you have no cultural claim to the djembe at all.) or you need to find someone else to present information on Barnard/Naki.

  • I am not from South Africa, but I am very proud of my African heritage...I am going to stop posting here because everytime I answer any of you, it counts as one more view of this HORRIBLE VIDEO.... You probably did not even know what I was refering to when I mentioned Dr. Hamilton Naki.....I don't want to contribute to this man thinking that his video is being watched because is of any value..at least not to me....thank you

  • There's a lot that I don't know! Like you I'm proud of my heritage, and I too feel that this video has little value, but I support anyone who is willing to put themselves out there and share what they know because it's another opportunity for me to learn something I don't know. If the information is of any value is for everyone to decide as individuals. I hate to see people disparage someone who is sharing their knowledge, as it can make for one less opportunity for me to make that choice.

  • Agree.. & your comment makes me laugh. It's hard to explain to people who are used to brushing with "C---brand" toothpaste, that it doesn't help you to 'gently' scratch the enamel off your teeth and add a poisonous compound to supposedly make it hard again.

  • duuuh wite man stop it. white man take me drum duuhhh yeah white poeple havn't created anything at all... the vast empires of North America and Europe just spontainiously shot up out of the ground... God racist people are so stupid.

  • Listen friend, the answer to racism is not more racism. You can't just unilaterally accuse white people of "stealing your culture", or of being "arrogant colonizers" or "supremacists" because they want to play the djembe. If I were to take up your line of reasoning, I could just as easily say that black people who play american drumset or marching snare are stealing my culture, but according to people like you, that would make me a racist. Why can't we all share what we have? Think about it.

  • who the hell are you to be teaching us about our drums...white man go to your thing...leave our drums alone..

  • If you wanna be like that take your drum and go live in a jungle. Don't touch anything a white person ever made. Like your computer for example. Idoit.

  • I wonder what's considered as a "successful" band based on his bio. You're an embarrassment to African drumming.

  • Why do we need to learn rudiments for a hand drum? Interesting, the paradiddle sounds pretty cool though.

  • is this a joke or something lol

  • whuaah this is the funniest video on youtube

  • Fucking TERRIBLE.

  • your drum sucks

  • This shit is bad. Like beyond suck. I'm actually dumber for watching this now. I hope I never suck as much as this fool!

  • It's always a lesson in human entropy watching arm chair quaterbacks criticize others who are doing something positive. Where's your video? Your probably too busy beating your wife and watching Rush Limbaugh.

  • Do you or have you ever played a hand drum? Did you even watch the video. Ok well I really have nothing more to say.

  • Actually I'm in the middle of making a brain surgery tutorial for "Expert Village"! It's really neat cuz I show you how to do it with ordinary household items to avoid those pesky hospital bills!

  • chutai hai sala bhenka lauda

  • this video is a nonsense...paradiddle has nothing to do with traditionnal djembe playing. It's a drummer playing on a djembe.... would be better to take a snare drum and two sticks

  • dude,get a real djembe,even if it's a small one.

  • Sorry man needs work ... I would start with using a traditional drum .. You playin some type of conga beats man !!

  • expert village schmexpert village sorry but i cant see repn yourself as an expert

  • Please all at expert village... do not have people who have not a clue as to what they are talking about represent your web space. It does not make you look good. Nore does it look like you represent "experts" . Please anyone who is really intersted in Djembe DO NOT try to learn from this man

  • If you're going to be teaching Djembe technique, you should get an actual Djembe from Africa. Not some cheap imitation from Indonesia.

  • Its a remo....last time I checked remo isnt cheap...its not african but it's not cheap

  • These expert guys do these demonstrations with the most awful sonding drums. No self respecting serious djembe player would use drums that echoed so much that any untrained ear would pick up the lack of tuning. Also how about demonstrating some acutal djembe accompaiments?

  • but it's bad basics, man

  • he helped me out to just to lern the quick baisics

  • without sounding like an ass, In my opinion you shouldn't need to watch video lessons to learn a technique like this

djembe is about expression and freedom, not rudiments you sit down and practise.

    just my thoughts.

  • On the other hand, learning rudiments can increase your "vocabulary" on the instrument - allowing more freedom of expression.

  • true, thats a fair point, but use techniques like the flam and ive never had a lesson nor have i ever sat down and actively 'practised' it. ive just picked it up from hearing others play.

but whatever i guess, everyone learns differently.

and thanks for marking down my comment, i was only giving my opinion, not being rude or anything...

  • Actually, I did not give you a thumbs down. You were putting forth a valuable idea (focusing on expression and freedom), and an opinion at that - I would not mark that down. Also, I just gave you a thumbs-up to counteract it. :)

  • fair enough, i apologise, and thanks for the thumbs up :)

  • heh this instument is about feeling not thinking

freestyle play how you feel it

  • arent you that guy who ate the worlds hottest pepper?

  • Hey, I dont care what any of you think, he's helped me with djembe playing (beginner)

  • Very good

  • Everyone of this guys video's are a joke, all respect for the drum but, man............... get a lesson! You are missinforming people bro, and please its pronounced ( Djembe')

  • Es increible lo que estoy viendo!

20 years learning percussion and never I´d seen anything like this .all this videos are a incredible scam.this man is playing for a few days!!!!!

  • Thanks for sharing but a slack, plastic headed djembe? yuck.

  • "there are "countless" rudiments to play."

    no...there's about 40.

  • good and constructive. but if he wants to play djembe with a nice fluency, he could try watching giovanni hidalgo's playing. he is a pioneer speaking of congas; he seems to have sticks not just his hands hahahaha!!

  • how do you tune these drums....with a spanner ....eh...flam...

  • should be titled "how to play snare drum rudiments on djembe with out caring about the sound you are getting"

  • wow this could not be more wrong

  • y did u even buy the djembe i mean get good b4 u buy 1 of ur own

  • one more lame ~.~

  • expert village?

    expert?

  • not even a djembe, it is not tuned, thats not the way to play it, i dont think anyy drum plays like you are playing, get a wood djembe, with goat skin, look at the video response and see a real djembe with a real rithm of west africa, and stop posting fake djembe videos.... you can use... mmm "almost djembe" expert... o something like... "a drum that looks like djembe" expert... or invent a name for that kind of drums...

  • I don't think theres a correct way to play a drum of any kind. And if you don't want to learn untraditional djembe, than search for traditional djembe lessons. there are some very good ones here. this guy isn't very good though in my opinion. The best way to learn unconventional playing is by just playing what ever comes out of it. Check my vids, and see what i do, it might give you some ideas.

  • that guy has a girls beard and is wearing a category 2 turtle neck... its not severe, but i still don't feel i should be taking djembe lessons from him.. anyhoo keep slapping that swine

  • Djembes are made from wood not fiberglass. Total BS

  • most are made from wood, but the one he is playing is a remo i think, made from fiber glass

  • They can be made from both. I have a fiberglass one at home.

  • What you own is a djembe-style drum. Also, this guy is doing paradiddles, which are absolutely, 100% useless on a djembe. Those are snare drum rudiments, not djembe rudiments. Guess what, there's a difference.

  • It's a little bit like comparing a basketball and a bowling ball. Sure, they're the same shape, but the materials make all the difference in the world. You can't use them interchangeably. Do you see what I mean?

  • I have one made from wood... i think fiberglass it's a little fake... but who cares? if you like it, you shoud be happy whith him....

    Keep playing. Peace

  • i think the wood djembes sound better and feel bettter i've played both

  • please, look up famadou konate and mamady keita. They get to the soul of the sound - and they aren;t afaid to hit their drums.

  • This is not how to play a djembe. You haven't the slightest clue of what djembe is. Stop using the word djembe. You disgrace the word.

  • wut the hell?

  • next up....quarter notes on the kick drum....4/4 baby!!! Weeee!!!!

  • haha, kinda funny to see snare rudiments on a djembe

  • go play your snare drum, because you have no clue how to play a djembe

  • RETARD - STOP POSTING YOU VIDEOS -

  • Mamady Keita Look him up Best Master Drummer ive heard. i should be taking classes in april with him . Also check out Ali farka Toure He is an amazing African Blues Guitarist. Also check out these African Musicians, Baaba Maal, Salif Keita, Youssou NDour ,Angelique Kidjo . Listen to the rhythms that the drummers play with them, this is the stuff you should learn from. Also most Djembe players play in a group. Usually there is 2-3 djembe parts and 3 Dunun parts.Hope this helps -One Love-

  • This is a lame explanation of the Paradiddle.

The paradiddle is a prime rudiment in that the two strokes from the same hand gives the other hand time to make an accent. Throughout most of the rudiments the two same hand strokes are almost always followed by an accent. I use snare drum rudiments to enhance my high speed accuracy in accented rolls. Also as an Anglo, I find it unnecesary to adhere to Afro qualifications. Remo Djembes are extremely servicable in all kinds of music. Easy Tunability

  • This guy is an retard. He is showing you snare drum technique and and drum that isn't anything close to being a real djembe. If you care about Djembe and preserving the true tradition of this instrument, and learning real technique don't every listen to this moron.

  • good to know someone else isn't completely oblivious to playing the djembe and understands that these rudiments are not a part of the African culture.

  • hello

  • For the person who remarked about "I play live and don't sit home and record..blah blah blah".....well then you really don't have room to talk. But you do sit home and "watch" youtube videos AND take the time to remark how he's doing things wrong. Hmm? For people like me who just bought a drum, and want to learn how, I find this video great! I will learn as I go. And those of you who complain, instead of complaining...make a video of your own.

  • well now first of all im trying to give you helpful advice from what i know as a drummer for the past 15 years of my life.this video is giving misleading information. in order to learn as you go you need to learn basic positioning and patterns. Not Flam taps and paradiddles. If you are just learning you need not concern yourself with that.Learn where to position yor hands according to your drum. Never hit with just your fingers, this is the one thing that has been stressed to me over and over .

  • Sorry, it just looked like you were attacking. But really, make a video. It would be nice to see alot more djembe instruction out there. I would watch it. I also think if you really want to teach people you really would make a video, or perhaps a whole website dedicated to instruction....instead of posting how people are doing it wrong. Just my $.02.

  • i dont have the capabilities to make videos right now and i definatly dont have the time to dedicate to a whole website. as far as im concerned you dont learn from videos. the best way to learn is hands on with a teacher. its easier to play by yourself and to a video that you can watch over and over. playing in a live application and keepin a constant steady rhythm WITHOUT changing is a real challenge try and play the same rhythm for more than 5 minutes any rhythm on any instrument. one love

  • I still do not see anything to back up yer attitude dude

  • I'm talking to you iooss420, or are you tired of getting your ass kicked around by the you tube community?

  • @WestCoastRedneck69 Funny looking back on all this. i realize now that this you tube community means something to you. Ooo man yea my ass really hurts this is embarrasing whatever shall i do.

  • @iooss420 where have you been? I would have thought you could afford some recording equipment being the prolific professional drummer you are...we are waiting for your divine influence I notice you have blocked my comments from your page after you were so willing to post yours on you tube

  • @WestCoastRedneck69 I love you friend i cant believe you are still on this unbelievable if you ask me. I did not block any comments from you as i dont even use this anymore i probably never would have signed in again if it wasnt for you. Im sorry that i had such a negative effect on you. Move on friend move on let it go. I know i can play i dont have to prove this to you and i never will cause it clearly bothers you. Keep on drumming brother let go of the hate dwell on the love :)

  • @WestCoastRedneck69 Oo yea i blocked you brother. The last time i signed in must have been when this first happened. Dude get a life. I love you stop trolling the internet. Im going to flying out to San fransico and going crooss country following my favorite band Phish and then going on a journey to collect crystals from the earth. I could care less about recording a video for you. Im glad you still dwell on this. After tonight i will not be commenting anymore for a long time :)

  • i like how he says hes an "expert" but he doesn't even know proper techniche

  • Bad hand technique, right left left left right right left left left left right??????

My teacher kills me if i do this. An his Drum?

    It´s no Djembe is Plasic!

  • Thanks for posting

  • piss poor hand technique never hit with just your fingers

  • shows what you know

  • haha i watched your video dude seriously learn the differnce between tone and slap and learn some control, technique man it takes time also you never hit with just your fingers because they cant handle constant punishment after hours of hitting a drum. The upper part of the palm can handle the beating i have been to classes and taught by Professional Musicians . Sure you can get the slap much easier by just hitting with your fingers, but its not a doumbek. Dont hurt your fingers play properly.

  • For one, my fingers don't hurt...for another...being taught by professional musicians seems to have only accomplished in providing you with arrogance...I play for the love of the music...I don't pick apart how its done. Besides I do not see anything you have managed to accomplish on You Tube other than snide remarks...Peace Bro

  • because i play live and dont stay home recording crap that i think is good to post on youtube. i also play to have fun and for the love of music i dont want people to play with bad technique if your gonna post an instructional video at least give the proper information, not just what you think you know. If you really want ill record my next session and show you how to get down on drums. Im not saying im a Master drummer by any means. i Just know that proper technique is essential with drums.

  • Hey,fair enough, I played for years live doing rock, classical, symphony, jazz, swing, country and even some Polka(don't ask) using a full drum set and then some. This is a drum I found that I can carry around with me,I didn't even know the name of it until fairly recently.I have just been experimenting with eclectic rhythms and the like. Just because it is different does not make it wrong. Maybe relax a little, have a few gaggers and you might be in the state of mind I was while making the music...

  • I like that you capitalized professional musicians. Like its an exclusive club of douchebags!

  • i Didnt want to disrespect true musicians. Its a matter of respecting the level that these people are at. i personally am not a professional.i Dont have the Honor of calling myself a douchebag yet. My whole point of this is Dont be called expert village if your going to apply western rudiments to an African drum. Go check out Mamady Kieta he is a true Master Drummer. He has many recordings and videos. Watch him and learn. My purpose isnt to cause problems.Smoke some herb relax a little.

  • hey fucko no videos yet?

  • You should have at least been able to afford a digital camera with video capabilities by now...or does your playing music for a living suck so hard you cannot afford one?

  • To WestCoast ...your brainless moronic comments spoil an otherwise good tutorial.....your a redneck...says it all!!

  • Maybe you should try reading the reply I sent to xTamLuvsRickx and maybe try to get more of the story before you start throwing in your gauntlet...

  • Right...I DID send you a reply and it seems you are ignoring it...it is nice to be able to throw stones at a guy before you read the whole story...maybe you should try to follow the example set by

    xTamLuvsRickx

and man up and maybe even apologize for calling my comments brainless and moronic...it is iooss420 who was the problem before and is now...funny a young Canadian Girl can find the brass to admit they are wrong but a middle aged British guy cannot... and Yeah I am a redneck so what

  • Whatsa matter salsaguy1964? can't be bothered to man up?

  • Hey WestCoastRedneck69!! I am doing the decent thing here and that is I apologise unreservedly, I should have read the postings before putting down the gauntlet (as you put it). Live long and prosper dude!!

  • Beautiful, Man, no hard feelings :) Take care

  • uooss420 for all his mouthin has not backed up for nuthin

  • could you make a video because all the ones i am watching you say they are crap.....so lets see what ya got buddy? I would love to learn from an idiot.

  • When i possess the capability to make a video i will gladly offer my advice and share what i know about playing the djembe. As for your ignorance it is not appreciated.I am far from an idiot, and in due time i will back up my statements. Everyone needs to relax Drumming is about having fun.You are all getting carried away. We should be sharing advice and information not bickering about stupid comments.I share my knowledge about something im very passionate about and get attacked. One Love

  • You arent sharing shit yet bro except what you can type...we are all still waiting for your divine influence...or have you not been capable of saving up for a webcam in the last year? Try asking a friend if you can use his cam if you have to...

  • sorry...do you have a friend?

  • Bah...you and Salsaguy are missing my point it is iooss420 I am talking to...he hasn't shown the brass to put up a video of himself after his bravado...if you really wanna talk to people about stupid brainless moronic comments try looking to some of the earlier comments all surround the perceived "racism" and yeah...I may be a redneck and an asshole...but I don't really care lol...peace out

  • I didn't see all the other comments, I think youtube was buggered up yesterday. Now that I have read all the comments I can see who the ahole is and I take my comment back that I made to you. (sorry) I didn't realize people can get so harsh on here, specially when there are some people nice enough to take the time to record some of their skills and post them on here on their own time. And who gives a hoot if you were a redneck or an ahole we ALL are at times :) C'ya
