Sounds terrible but all we kept being force fed for a month prior was the who's who of the Canadian team, the marketable named athletes & all their stories of coming up short, etc. Miss. As a citizen of the United States, I am proud as proud to be a neighbor of Canada as I am to be a citizen of my own Nation. I would count it an honor to give my life for the defense of Canada just as I would count it an honor to give my life in defense of my own. Because of how the US is too, technically they aren't anything of "american" because it's officially a union, like 50 countries in a Union. So if you wanna be technical, your supposed to be called whatever state you are from.
Because the name is just stating that you guys are states that are united within "America".

@Junokaii Actually, we have one federal government, a union would not have one overarching government. Really, our states are pretty much provinces, with a different name. Our states have say over many things, but the most important laws are made by the federal govenrment.

Top 10 Canadian Summer Olympic moment imo. Sounds terrible but all we kept being force fed for a month prior was the who's who of the Canadian team, the marketable named athletes & all their stories of coming up short, etc. Miss. Huynh IS who Canada is today & it was spectacular to see this on tv when I got home that day from work. It was sooooo damn refreshing because sons & daughters of immigrants are as Canadian as the rest of us!

When anyone says they hate a country, it's the height of arrogance. It's saying they know everything/everyone--and their hate is legitimate.
Canada has many provinces and territories. If you "hate" one, the one next to it may make you fall in love with the nation.
Sadly, people today don't think. They meet 1 bad Canadian or have 1 negative experience then decide to hate an entire country. What does that say about the country where THEY come from? Think about it.
