@Ps3winz At the time it was announced, a pre-order of the TV got you a pair of 3D glasses to go along with it as well as a copy of the latest Motorstorm game and Resistance 3. This was later altered (though not for early adopters) to just the Motorstorm game, this pack has yet to change so really you're not just purchasing the TV but also a game and the glasses to go along with it. I think I'm forgetting something in the bundle though.

FYI guys, I tried this out in Sony Store, and when you use SimulView... you don't get 3D option anymore. 3D is only on single player.

I'd have to see in action,but it would be a nice feature for co-op.Now all we need is more games that can use Simulview. It would really help because trying to help out your teammate will no longer be a pain in the ass.The problem with split screen is that you have limited view,especially with vertical split screen.Seriously,I got killed in co-op on Kane and Lynch because I couldn't see what I was doing.

I've seen many people write that any 3D TV can do simulview. That's not accurate. The TV needs to sync with the glasses so that the glasses only show one of the images. The glasses to not do this automatically, even if they are the active shutter type. Currently, this is the only TV that can do simulview, and you also need the glasses that come with it. I welcome proof to the contrary.

You know how you get 2 images, one for each eye, to get 3D?

Well, split them into 2 completely different video-streams, then filter them with one set of glasses for each image and there you go, each set of glasses sees a different image come through.

That wouldn't get you 3D though, but maybe there's another way so you DO get 3D.

Seems like a great dedicated screen though. :)

@Datastaple based on refresh rate of the tv and goggles. 1 player views 1st frame followed by 2nd player 2nd frame then 1st player 3rd frame and it follows. so each player will skip a frame but only see the frame it suppose to see.
