I still don't understand why the rotating coin had to rotate twice inorder to move all the way around the stationary coin.

@willza13 Instead of the moving coin, imagine a car being driven around. Will it undergo one complete rotation after the round trip? Now in addition to this imagine the car is 'tumbling' instead of being driven around. It will undergo more rotation right? The moving coin is doing both these things at the same time.
