please help!

my young cousin managed to get hold of my n800, i let him play a few games on it but when i got it back it was turned off, i turned it on and its asking me for an unlock code!

i've tried the original 12345 code and many other codes i could have possibly used but i never lock the device so i forgot the code...

i don't know what to do!

do you have to use the internet with everything?

and can you use it as a normal mobile phone with out the internet?

no cuz it doesnt have other methods of connectivity than wifi

It can actually hook up to a cell phone via bluetooth & go online that way too, BUT that requires a special kind of data plan and the phone must have modem capabilities. The data plan itself is also pretty expensive, $40 for T-Mobile and $60 for AT&T.

says it supports SD cards. but i read only micro SD cards and mini SD cards, etc. Can it support standard?

also, it looked like you had a 10GB card in. I thought it said 'up to 4GB'??

The N800 has 2x full SD card slots. The N810 has one MiniSD card slot. Each support the smaller ones with adapters.

Thats a 1.0 GB gard, not a 10GB.

you never mentioned why the youtube video lag? is it because of not enough ram or is the processor too slow?

I just bought the N800 today, and wondering if it's possible to connect the tablet to a PC and hack it so it uses a Linux or Vista based OS.

I own a HTPC I built so the N800 would be perfect as a wireless remote via bluetooth or WLAN

It runs Linux natively - just download Xterminal. Vista will always be impossible: Can't get a Vista box with that size and cost!
