@ramv36 Of course, as a Missourian, I have little room to talk: many years ago one of our gubernatorial candidates died in a place crash, yet a few months later against all reason and logic, we elected this dead man to lead our state in a landslide vote. Then, a person no one voted for was appointed to the position after the election. Once again, decisions based on emotion are quite often unsound decisions by their very definition.
