I suggest a camera angle that has better visual access to the right hand. Im more of a visual type learner. Other than that, great video!

The first bass note played (C) comes in slightly later (on the original) than where you play it. (Sorry to be pedantic!) You play that 'C' on the word "...long" whereas, if you LISTEN to the original, it comes in a half step(?) after it - basically on the first beat of where you would start counting - have a listen to the original! But a great help so far!!

Yes, it is correct, but as it is shown in the video (minute 6:05) you can play it or not, because is the note that plays the bass guitar.
