well, its not too hard, when u have FumeFX (requires 3dsmax, Maya or whatever 3D program)

I've got the program and plugin but I'm still new to Fumefx. Can't seem to find any tutorials, most tend to focus on creating flamethrower effects or explosions
I just want to know how to apply a fire effect to a weapon :(

@Sefearion U dont have to apply any effects to a weapon its just settign an object on fire, perhaps some adjustments to the settings and colour but nothing special in particular.
