  • I ran into this problem:Reading package lists... Done

    Building dependency tree

    Reading state information... Done

E: Unable to locate package ia32-libs

I am using ubuntu 10.04 32 bit system, booted from a usb stick

  • @irinhuman If you're using a 32 bit system you don't need the 32 bit libraries so you can skip that part.

  • Heya, Do you have any idea where i can get 'modes' for different phones?

  • Do you need to install java first, or is it included in ubuntu 10.10?

  • @roguechedder84 If you installed the restricted extras during the initial install then yes it should already be installed if not open up software center and search for "restricted extras" it's a one click install and that should install Java.

  • Awesome, clear, instructive videos, part 1 and 2. Keep up the very good work!

  • ./android: 83: java: not found

    ./android: 100: java: not found

Starting Android SDK and AVD Manager

    exec: 113: java: not found

thats what i get not sure whats wrong

  • @jwgrz2614 what distro are you running? Have you put yourself in the "tools" directory inside the Android SDK?

  • @jwgrz2614 Install java runtime after installing the restricted extras in the software center. Also, in the terminal, instead of "./android", try "sudo ./android". It worked for me and hope this helps

  • nice video. but dude I have trouble in Installing 32 Bit Libraries:

    Reading package lists... Done

    Building dependency tree

    Reading state information... Done

E: Unable to locate package ia32-libs

do you know who to deal with it? Thanks

  • @wangtulao What Distro are you running?

  • @wangtulao If you are using a 32 bit ubuntu distro, then they already installed.

  • DUDE THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH

  • @philidox Anytime my friend glad you liked the video!
