Metroid and Kid Icarus, two great games.

For some reason, I always thing of the sky palace theme from Kid Icarus at 45 seconds in, similar rhythm. Same staff on these two great games as we all know.

Speaking of which, the Japanese version of Metroid didn't contain the section from 0:40 to 1:05. I like how that section particularly switches to hope, and the way it flows back into the darker intro of the theme. It works perfectly.

0:00 is for the escape - the creators guessed you'd be close to the exit, so they put music as if you were completin a very hard mission (which it was...)
