When you pass the first tree in the forest, do you see any wild animals then? Offcourse not. You need to go deep in to the forest, and get lucky to spot some animals.
Its the same with space. When you're past the next few solarsystems, maybe the first life sings can be ancountered.
ufo? these vids are stupid... all I see is stars or small meteors reflecting light... all these videos and no one asks why are ufo's moving so slow and why dont we have footage of a ufo turning or manuvering in some way... always a straight line of motion or no motion at all with a blury cam. i beleive there are some other forms of life but these videos are just dumb.
Um... Space is a vacume... no molecules for heat energy to transfer to, besides the space suit... they are in direct sunshine... no atmosphere... very HOT... think about the equator, its so hot because light travels in a straight line through the atmosphere, so it passes through less atmosphere compared to the north where it enters at an angle... The only way for the suits to lose this heat in a vacume is though radiant heat loss (which is slow) and through the suits coolant system...
These astronauts would be frying in direct sunlight if not for the coolant system. If they wanted to tests the suits ability to keep them warm, they should be in the shadow of the earth, where there is little to no heat. Cold doesn't really even exist, it's a sensation.. it's a way our bodies express a lack of normal heat energy. Anyways, WTF NASA! What strange way of conducting that experiment... LOL
Heat in space is tranfered by radiation. The astonaughts and any other object loose heat by and gain heat through radiation. Still seems like a silly experiment to be doing in direct sunlight. the radiant heat loss is surely being well compensated for by the intense radiation of the sun. Hence the need for the cooling systems in those suits.

Um, you basically contradicted yourself.
Your perception of heat is caused by the disturbance of molecules.
If you are arguing that there are "no molecules for heat energy to transfer to" that means that there can't be any heat.
Well done.

wrong and I'm in 9th grade and I'm smarter than you

So explain why I'm wrong then. I say it's silly to test how well the suits protect against the cold of space while in direct sun.
septicbrainfluid 2 years ago
While in the heat the suits keep them cool, in the shade the suits keep them warm. The suits have a built in heating/cooling system.
