  • Hello. I was tuned F-Bb-D-G from G-C-E-A. I guess it's 2 half steps down.

    Sometimes I play with my brother on guitar. A lot of Bluegrass music is in the key of "G". If I didn't tune down I would be in the key of "C" and he would play capoing his guitar at the 5th fret. This way he only has to capo at the 3rd fret which sounds better.
