i love the rasta word. everything about it. everything in harmony and pure and clean. but the problem is i am very white.
can i become a rasta with out descracing the black race or the white race or the rasta culture? is it aceptable to the rasta culture to be a white rasta?

If the others of the world have worshipped white gods for all these years and the worshippers of a black god have braught you something fresh and beautiful and universial, why cant you worship that black god and do his work , build his house in the original homeland for all humanity?
Personally i worship God, not white god, not black god, not purple god. I guess the idea of a black god makes me feel inferior, like the traditional white god makes most blacks feel. Then again we are all made in Gods image, so there cant be a correct color, creed, or descent , can there?
Why dont you just be a white person who eats naturally, and do something for the poor (dont just sympathise with them.) The only problem is im French/Scottish which means im very very white. im proud to be white, and im not really into black history since it doesnt involve me, and i dont want to look like a poser. Yes, very true. Ethiopia can refer to Africa as a whole, but the country itself is also a spiritual home to all Africans, and all mankind, because that is where we all originated from. It's the home of Selassie I, our father, so it's our home as well. And any way, I'm from Ghana (I am actually an Akan), and I can assure you that many Jamaican Rastafarians do repatriate to Ghana as wel. Where my family is from, is full of Jamaican Rastafarian immigrants. They're nice people. Blessed Love & Peace
