  • @Young0maker: TRUE

  • nice, really.... I want to 12 giga memory and FX -6100 for the new middle class computer, for daily use.

  • holy crap the heat sink at 0:27 looks like a car radiator!

  • name of the song please ?

  • well why don't you have it in a case? it did not seem you where benchmarking

  • I never saw that king of cpu cooler

  • @ELMangler Why are you using the stock heatsink???

  • but will it blend?

  • Sometimes you buy a lot of ram, just because you can, and maybe because your a bit of a nerd. My i7 has 24gb, now i do use it for modeling, and textures easily use 24 gb, so i'm about to upgrade. But instead of using my lovely SSD disk for games like battlefield 3, why not place the hole game on a ramdisk instead. My ramdisk is 16gb, so I have 8gb left for windows and the game's memory usage. That's how you load the game fast! However a ramdisk is reset when power is lost, so you have to reload.

  • i take it your just bench marking and testing with that stock cooler?

  • buys i7 uses stock cooler FFS

  • @nevermind89pwnz If you don't over-clock it, it'll be fine. Maybe he isn't a power user? His PC will be fast and probably won't overheat in its lifetime.

  • @ReScaping than it's just cpu overkill, if he's not poweruser he should have bought i5 or i3 this is just ridiculous. 400$ cpu you can afford 30$ heasink

  • @nevermind89pwnz Maybe he's a gamer...? The stock one is fine unless you overclock, maybe the i7 is just right for what he needs it for.

  • @ReScaping I hear what you're saying it just doesnt seem right. I dont know maybe it's general impression he left with his components sitting on a table (like entusiast) and then you see stock cooler :)

  • @nevermind89pwnz Ah, yeah I understand, does seem a little silly to be honest haha :)

  • hey whats the tiny clear fan i need one about the same size for a old computer but i need to know the brand and size.

  • how to check like that cpu

  • now remove the heatsink

  • nice dust filter >:)

  • @Armaangandevia1 dust filters are crap

  • Stock cooler lol

  • @Chanvlan so what we all use them even i do and really its best to use the stock cooler if you don't plan on overclocking.

  • I dont even have a stock cooler on my old pc in the corner using a amd athlon x2 3800+ with a thermal take cooler

  • lol I like the stock intel cooler

  • well, i'm contented w/ 4gb ram in a win7 32 bit... all used (by the help of the patch i dl... can see upto 128 gb)

  • waste of ram if your not into mega tasking. tsk tsk. pitiful psychos.

512kb<1gb<2gb<4gb=8gb=16gb=24gb. Most of the effects are highly psychological. What's making a computer more faster is the processor, mobo, and ssd. RAM is random access memory, used to store data while in use instead of fetching it from the HDD (which is slower).

  • @taejamhaha In that part you are wrong.

It really depends on the use you are going to give to your computer.

Video editing and rendering can eat a lot of RAM, most of those computers will need 16GB,

  • Why didn't you just get a single 12GB kit? That's what I run and it's 3 cards.

  • so running as much ram as your supposed to, impressive... and my phenomII supports 16GB so ha ha intel pplz

  • @nna737 my core i7 supports 24gb of ram ha ha to you

  • @TURBORAPIST2 and i care why? how much did your system cost you?

  • @nna737 alot more than your below entry level phenom 2

  • @TURBORAPIST2 go fuck yourself you stuck up twat

  • @nna737 AMD fan boy even the new AMD chips will not surpass the extreme power of core i7

  • @TURBORAPIST2 are you a spoiled 12 year old, coz 12 year olds are the only ones who sit on youtube and troll over some i7 system

  • um yeah, why would anyone think you CAN'T run 12gb, my i7 workstation has 24gb, at work we have over 200gb. it's just a number. no magic

  • dont need to show off 12 gb.

  • why in the world would you use 6 sticks?

  • why you torture such a nice setup with such a nasty OS prone to memory leak's?

  • u should let little kids go in there and see what will happen XD XD XD

  • I R has 16GB ftw ;]

  • AND YET AERO STILL ISNT RUNNING!

  • 6 x 2 ? why not 3 x 4 ??

  • @vokajko11 its called a $60 air compressor that can clean that in seconds (less than), gotta love morons getting top comment though!

  • Where do u actually put your pc in the fridge?

  • vengance or dominator?

  • that CPU fan looks dangerous!

  • but will it blend?

  • Eew, a stock cooler. x.x

  • Can this play pong?

  • @danielfazzino more than sure it can't/ LOL

  • @danielfazzino I bet it can't play Flash Pong because Flash sucks so bad

  • can u play solitaire

  • @c35213 i have 16gb an i7 an yes u can play solitaire and minecrafte together!!!! thats real power!

  • With the newly released X79 socket LGA2011 CPU's ( the 3930K and 3960X i7's) you can have up to 64 GB's of RAM.

  • Is this really that unusual? I've seen 32GBs of DDR3 with a core i7 in a laptop. Question is, have you ever even used 50% of your RAM in one instance? Probably not, now you're just wasting money.

I'd rather have spent the money on a RAID 0 SSD raid, disk IO can be killer, where as if you're playing a commercially done game it will typically use VRAM, so you should be more focused on your graphics card, and disk IO is the #1 performance bottleneck.

  • damn man you could of made this video on that pc 360p? is poo

  • 9-9-9-24 2T 1600Mhz, disgusting. Focus on quality not quantity.

  • Just give it to me straight...... CAN I PLAY MINESWEEPER...

  • lol i have 16gb of ddr3 ram in my pc and and an 8core cpu overclocked pretty standard and cheap. and it play solitaire great

  • Yea its cool but can it play pac-man

  • I make CG, high amount of geometry and huge textures requires lots of ram..

  • Great now you can watch all the porn you want without lag

  • I have 24GB.. Soon i will buy another 24GB, so i my computer will have 48GB of ddr3.. :) Even that 24 gigs is FAR TOO LITTLE amount.. x) 23GB has been in use and that can be easily exceeded.. =P

  • I use 12Gb ram with my i7 960...three 4Gb corsair ram modules. works brilliant.

If anyone doesn't believe me, i will gladly take pics to prove it.

  • 12GB of Memory and stock cpu cooler? :D funny

  • @TempleAnzani that's like a golden toaster that can barley toast anything

  • 12GB of RAM but using the stock cooler. Why.

  • I ave 16 gigs love my corsiar Vengance :D

  • 12gb of ram? why? just for bragging rights?

  • Intel's latest motherboard's with the 1366 socket can "theroretically" handle up to 128gb of memory :)

  • Nice run bro!

  • 8|

  • your computer is very well protected from dust

  • @vokajko11 Uhh he won't be having any dust ;) Dust comes into ur computer when there is more exhaust then intake :) Has something to do with the pressure inside

  • @vokajko11 Say that now, but when he gets a max heat output from his CPU under load of 40 degrees, he'll be laughing...not you.

  • This isn't torture... we got many wore methods of ruining you'r pc, the most common method is to install Vista, so after all... good work! :D

  • why would you have to pump more voltage to reach 12gb? get your facts straight. also prime95 is pretty shitty to test memories, test with memtest86+

  • hmm you used the stock cpu fan? you have what looks like a mtax mobo? which can only really hold integrated stuff which is barely upgradable, and windows will read 12gb but wont use it all hahahaha waste of money 6 gb would have been enough!

  • Well this isn't anymore a PC.. it's a power station..

  • Comment removed

  • hermano tienes que cambiar el disipador de calor

  • that thing needs a case lol

  • ima dislike this! some one press like LOL

  • i hope that's a x64-bit os, same thing goes to all of you with more than 3gb ram

  • @codeinjection good point

  • only 12gb?

  • I have 12gbs in my laptop with a i7

  • Well i got 16 gb ram i uses VMware alot

  • but does it blend?

  • 50 Porn windows running at once?

  • Are we playing the game to make like and dislike equal well if that's the case then I am in :)

  • Can it run notepad?

  • @punkedface HOLY FUCKING SHIT YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @punkedface are you crazy!!! HE WILL BLOW UP HIS COMPUTER RUNNING THAT PROGRAM!!!

  • @punkedface yes, but it lags :D

  • @punkedface heh i don't know man calc is a better benchmark

  • Wow! 99 like and 99 dislike

  • Could you not afford a tower?

  • @Legend1148 or a better cpu cooler

  • You've spent a fortune on ram but are still using the stock cpu cooler. Good for you, you made the smart choice.

  • HOLY SH*T. I only have 2GB....haha it's enough for me.

  • I am getting an extra 8 ;D + LEDS in a case make it looks beyond the point even trying to call it gay. :L

  • I hate that cooler... i got the same. Nice Graphics card btw

  • I think you need a better heat sink. how about a v8 or v10.

  • Wow. 12GB. I'll be happy with my AMD (superior) running 32GB. :)

  • I also got 12gb running at CL9(9-9-9-27) 1.64v (2x KHK1600C9D3K3/6GX)

  • so? i have 24 gb hyperx@2100

  • Instead, why not buy 2 8GB DIMMs for 16GB? That should use less power, and you'd have 4 more GB. :)

  • lol obviously a old vid u can now buy 12gb kits (3x4gb)

  • @tuflymaoriguy

There's a magical thing on these videos called a date. That tells you it's an old video ;-)

  • Nice ;D

  • @hertzman5 No, I believe it is SDRAM, DDR3. No need in the iMac with all that space

  • THATA MAD.. A STOCK CPU COOLER

  • i7 iMac has slots for 16GB RAM

  • you should properly stop buying ram and buy a better heat sink ;)

  • i think its windoes 7 with windows 7 basic texture.

  • what kind of extreme edition processor uses a crap heatsink like that?

  • @MatthewOnciul

Haha i know stock heat sink

  • I have exactly the same; i7 6.3 ghz rated, 12gb ram

  • @elmangler just curiouse what did you got on the wei score with thous 1600mhz and 12gb?

  • @plutoguerra I have that and it scores 7.9

  • Shame on you for using that POS cpu heatsink/fan. lol Nice rig though.

  • 12 giga di ram? -.-" ti prendevi un kit da 6 giga e con i soldi rimanenti ti prendevi un dissipatore migliore -.-"

  • Really Nice, but dont run it on vista

  • อยากได้

  • 12GB of ram ? So Vista may run on it then .....just ... lol

  • @cyberjackcyberjack I agree vista sucks.

  • @cyberjackcyberjack I don't see anything wrong with Vista, its pretty much the same as Windows 7.

  • @SynysterCondom Your kiding ... right ? Windows 7 may look same as Vista but its what under the hood that matters. 7 is is much faster than Vista

  • @SynysterCondom Well it asks you multiple times if you'd like to go through with opening files, like wtf? it also errors and renders your computer useless due to using too much memory.

Windows 7 is a cleaner and error-free(as far as I'm aware) version of Vista.

  • @PyreManiacz well the UAC thing is so random .exe don't run without your permission, its for added security which you can take off if you dislike it. After 5 years of using Vista, I haven't had a single major error issue. People think Vista is a memory hog but it's not, SuperFetch utilizes your unused RAM as a cache to speed up your system, having lots of free memory is a waste. Once you start a memory heavy application, however, Vista will release that memory instantly.

  • @cyberjackcyberjack

    nope.avi

  • @cyberjackcyberjack I never had any problems with Vista and I only had 2GB of RAM back then.

  • ai olha meu computador fodão, ganhei do papai... vai trabalhar vagabundo.

  • Who the hell buys an i7 9xx series and uses a stock cooler ? !

  • nice system

  • thats more powerful then watson from jepordy lol

  • The Most powerful i7 system in the world --->

  • @Ghost31096 nah many out here

  • NICE!! i'm getting the same sort of setup with the asus p6t deluxe 2

  • yes because I really need that amount of memory, 6GB is already too much of an overkill!!

  • @thaoval123 not true. some applications do use as much as 12GB. i have an app that is ab out 600kB and i can make it use all my RAM in about 10 seconds. It's called minecraft server... blow up 500k tnt and the RAM goes through the roof... i have my servers using 12GB of ram and if i blow up 500k tnt it won't manage it. not enough RAM. and i don't know what it does to 24GB. so 6GB is not overkill, for everyday use, yes it is, but not some things.

  • @xBlizzDevious Im speaking as a regular gamer, I dont think everyone runs dedicated servers..

besides, for proper servers dont you rent game servers?-where they use some funny motherboards with a kajabillion ram slots?

  • @thaoval123 i am a regular gamer too. i don't have and dedicated servers, just the servers for minecraft that i run when me and my mates wanna play in the same map. haha... and blow up lots of tnt.

  • intel stock heatsinks are more dangerous then amd and uglyer but it dont matter LOL

  • i have a 1799gb of ram and witha mux 120 and 790inch screen bitches

  • Lol people think memory ram gonna push on the moon ! Get a SSD or overcloack your cpu with a better heatsink .... You got a Extrem edition lol

  • Now go to 24 gigs

  • whats wrong with windows moviemake fucking dumbass your a total dumbfuck go bitch to your cunt man get a clue now i go enjoy core i7 x58 tc ddr3 624gb ddr3 tc lameoh fucker!

  • 6 or 8GB still overkill

  • @HeadouCompany Well no, Window 7 64bits recommend 4GB of RAM. other usage recommend 2GB so 6GB is all u need. Tho if u do massive multi task such as movie maker, an Hardcore gaming 8GB is enought thus ur PC dosnt lag out or slow down due to usage of RAM. Remeber 6/7 years ago when P4 was still alive avg PC only have 512 MB of ram an that wasnt enuoght for multi task. You cant record music/movies an try to surff internet at tha same time unless u like to lag/ or game ether way.

  • @wkb97 =0

  • @wkb97 Yeah movie maker is a consuming program...

  • Lol, when i made my computer, i never used their fan and heatsink, my venemous X does the job very well. i use 3 4Gb Corsair DDR3, very good and reliable brand

  • BOO! RADEON ONLY INTEL NVIDIA GTX480

  • 48 gb ram evga sr-2

  • Get a better heasink like a MUX 120. That thing will overheat in any eviroment over 20c

  • for gaming u not need more then 8gb atleast for now...

  • @SoulShade08 that what i was thinking

  • LOOOL, type in the song into the search bar and wacht that video, it's funny:P

  • Amazing!!!

  • nice heatsink you retard

  • aha im just about to get the corsair 12gb 2x 6gb lol im looking forward to it :D

  • When I came to this video thinking he had a computer with 12 gigs of ram I expected amazing effects and transitions... wow.

  • man, 12gb? SERIOUSLY? what are you doin? running 5 WOW accounts, 10 bank accounts, and like 500 webpages?? thats some ultimate server shit right there

  • @ThaSkyKing No that's not a good amount for a server. I've seen servers with up to 256 GB's (Yes gigabytes not Megabytes) of ram.

  • @starwarsfan76

Yeah, but he's not thinking of a youtube server >.> I am pretty sure 12 Gb would be just fine for a web server. Or 1000 xD

  • can it handle Crysis?

  • Intimidating. ahhh I wanna upgradeee

  • Solid man. most x58 boards can have up to 24 gbs of memory (why anyone would use that much is still beyond me) you could use a new heatsink though. what speed are you running those DIMM's at?

  • nice system
