I think the cause for people often associating The Horrors with Neils Children is the fact that both bands have toured with eachother and share similar influences (Post-punk, Psychedelia) plus a lot of fans of both bands listen to both bands. If you look at it their sounds aren't overtly similar. Both bands have evolved and progressed over time. However I'm just going to point out that yes, sometimes both bands sound similar. But so what? Listen to them cus you like them :)
