@PaganDeathKnight You're an idiot. In the current political climate, you can either have a Christian Europe, a Communist/Atheist Europe, or an Islamic Europe.
What would you rather have?
Most of the intelligent military men I PT with are Christians, most of the retarded liberal college kids I know are Atheists, go figure.
@TheVaktus I don't think you understand. Currently Europe is facing religious turmoil, either they will stay predominately Christian, shift toward Marxist Atheism, or they will be converted to Islam. Retarded pagans are just trendy faggots that need to grow up.
@TheVaktus "Your a dumbass" Oh, how ironic. It figures that only a knucklehead like you that can't comprehend what they read or spell properly would be a pagan/sympathizer.
La morte va a tutti coloro che disonorano la mia gente. I annunciare questa decisione a tutti gli italiani e siciliani a fare tutti gli sforzi volti ad assassinare "la situazione".
why you americans tend to see the Roman Empire only under a profile of violence and power? The roman society were also formed by normal people with normal lives as merchants musicians dancers poems writters scientists doctors farmers breeders with many stores into the cities as mercati traianei in Rome where they sold the products for living. Romans were normal people as we are in a different historical period. Dont' think to romans only based of violence and battles..
@milly8389 the will of conquering other lands to expand own territories was a normal behave 3000 years ago as etruscans did before in Italic land or celts too.
Dont' base your knowladge only on movies. The history is in the specific books not on the movies.
@memphisdarkwolf yes ok I'm glad. I've only wanted to present the life in roman period or etruscan in a entire vision not only what the Movies Industries tend to show to impress the spectatoures and to attract more public possible. Romans system to controll the society inside was of course also violent but all that period was violent even all the other population used violent ways to controll the rules inside the society. Celts were very violent too for example. No population were really pacific
I think Americans see Roman under the profile of violence and power because they revolutionized Warfare as well as literature and art. They used and invented Tactics we adapt to current Conflicts. Also, Roman became an Empire, Empires are built upon Violence, and flourish under Politics, Literature, Art and Culture.
@milly8389 I dont think that and I am an American. Americans just like any other person who has half a brain knows Rome made the world what is is today. Republics, freedom, war, cement, architecture etc etc
@milly8389 how come there is any bit of ignorance americans are the ones to blame? You europeans are all the same I used to think europe was a beautiful country filled with nice people when all I see you people do is slander us sorry if this is insulting to you but it frustrates me that i cannot watch a damn video without us being called names. a fourth of the people who live here are foreigners trying to make a better name for themselves have you taken that into consideration?
@snipes081 dear friend i only wanted to defend the history by the movies. you say about insult, i didn't insult anyone. the truth needs to be defended also our history and our ancestors by the lying of the movie industry. i am sorry if someone immagine roman people only as cruel individuals cause it's not true. romans were normal persons who lived day by day their life with their family jobs as every population did. of course 3000 years ago there were not the multi rights we have now.
@milly8389 I disagree, It wasn't the farmers the artists or the writters that made Rome an empire, it was the suscess of its legions, and through cheer brutality they conquered the western world, I'm amazed at the huge amount of you people that lurk around Youtube claiming to be proud of the empire while disregarding the fact most of you descent from the same barbarians the Romans turned into whores, gladiators, and slaves and quite literary lived of them. Hail the S.P.Q.R. still!
usa as a superpower or empire?? the US is not even as half strong as the roman empire used to be. to be called an empire your country consecutively need to expand along with other things that modern countries don't do. Besides economy, government etc
The American dollar is English, as developed by Roctfield, an English company.
But I admit that the Romans were the ultimate empire. So advanced, so disciplined...amazing how they lost to stupid, barbarians. Which ones sacked Rome? Huns? Goths?...?
All of that will indicate that is loosing its reigns, loosing it economic power, its business power. Referring to the US as an empire, is not in the land conquest sense but they do have military bases all over the world, which are actually American territories, on top of that they are telling everybody how to run their countries by the force of air assault. The American dollar is the only currency that is a legal tender worldwide, modern day Empire to me.
To be honest I hope America burns for what it did. For one, it slaughted atleast 58 million Natives just to get Land, whereas the British Empire (which will always be the greatest Empire on earth) simply bought them out.
And Americans think they won the Revolutionary war on their own!
........and we all know is changing, loosing its power, yes, to China, don't forget India too. British?.....maybe colonized by British people. If you go back further, the birth place of Western civilization is Rome, The Roman Empire, city planning, language (Latin), religion, social structure, laws, aqueduct, apartment buildings, etc., too many to mention them all. But in a sense, can be defined as British.
@GenuinoR You're wrong actually. The US Dollar is not legal currency around the world, infact the US dollar is nearing the nomic growth in the world at the momentfastest economic growth in the world at the momentfastest economic growth in the world at the moment. Stop making up shit to defend your stupid, dumb, corrupt, crumbling country you call USA.
@GenuinoR normally the movies tend to represent roman history based only on the battles the violence the politics and the conquests to impress the spectators but the social life during those period was more normal than it is supposed.
Sometime I am impressed how romans and etruscans before were so similar to how we are noweday execpt some laws and social rules of course.
But how many of you know that etruscans and romans after consequensly played with the ball as social game?
@milly8389 and how many of you know that in etruscan civilty and roman after consequensly it used to do dental and orthopedic refined surgical operations very similar how modern society does noweday?
If you come to Rome one day I really suggest you to visit the etruscan museum you could really get impress how the etruscans were not so different by us now.
Think that they made the best wine in italic land and very appreciated abroad thanks the commercial links with foreigner populations.
@milly8389 and if in Italy we have a great quality of wine is only thanks the etruscan heritages in fact in many regions it' s using the same segrets.
All that for saying that in ancient period the people had a life similar to how we have but only with different possibility customs rules and laws naturally.
There was not only violence but also a common pacific and ordinary life. The movies often are only a show.
The United States of America is just like the Roman empire. Too bad these two great civilizations will collapse and fall the same exact way. Political corruption. bribes, loss of morals, unwinable wars, much overspending, elitism, you name it. Both founded as a republic, Rome collapsed as a socialist state and the United States will collapse as a socialist state if its people are not carefull. Rome and the USA are 2 of 3 best civilizations ever known. The British Empire is the 3rd.
@GenuinoR I think i read your comment. Nice video by the way. But yea both superpowers will end in the same way. Rome like the United States could not stare down a falling economy and severe inflation. Only with the United States the economic collapse strategy called cloward and piven is being used by the world elites to collapse the US and world economy. One world government, currency, and religion is the endgame. No country will be sovereign anymore.
@GenuinoR USA will never be an empire neither will match Rome's greatness and power. Just a creation of the Masons to bring the New World Order. Thank you.
The Roman Empire even at the hight of its power in 138 AD could not stare down a collapsing a economy and a burdening military empire. What collapses economies, Socialism but socialism alone didn't kill the once great empire. It was other things like political corruption, excessive military spending, loss of morals and other things. The same thing could happen the the United States. You already have political corruption, excessive military spending and people working very hard to destroy it.
@ceocoryaald I asked what made Rome even remotely socialist? Socialism wasn't invented but 2000 years later. I have never heard of any even remote socialist traits in ancient rome. Now, im nto sure what you men by 'socialism'. Do you mean a communist state like USSR or a welfare state, like many european countries today which is not bad at all. Social services like universal healthcare and complimentary education are very important in my opinion. We have them in Finland(where i live).
@ceocoryaald USA will never be an empire neither will match Rome's greatness and power. Just a creation of the Masons to bring the New World Order. Thank you.
Thank you Dalbert. Yes, it was founded as a Republic but their greatest achivements and domination was under the hands of the Emperors, although Julius Caesar was not an Emperor by definition, changes started with him, the most famous roman of them all.
That was under the Etruscans domination, after the last king was outed, that's when they started inscribing S.P.Q.R. in almost every edification, becoming and founding Rome the Republic, for the fear of giving too much power to a single individual (Kings), all to be thrown out 500 years later by Julius Caesar, the republic lasted just that, 500 years.
There's actually only one real source that shows Rome was a kingdom. It's a stone inscription with the word rex in it. Other then that we don't have any proof Rome was a kingdom. Almost nothing is known about early Rome(unless you want to believe the legends)

All kingdoms fall and die but the greatest leave there mark not just on a certain time but upon all of history.
As it was with Rome so it will be with the United states of America.
Btw from most historical evidence one of the greatest powers of Rome was that their people would do anything.
"The people of Athens will give their hands, The people of Sparta will give their lives, The people of Rome, They will give even their souls."
Rome lost land time and again, But always came back again.
