@graemea67 How about Thailand? Or an authentic Thai restaurant? I spent over 2 years living in Thailand and waited in a Thai restaurant in Canada, so you're not going to BS me. I've seen it done very close to this many times, inside my host mom's house. I'm pretty sure she knows a tad bit more about cooking Thai than you do.
@ianman6 Yes I have lived and worked in Thailand for many years, (much more than you in fact). I love this food as does my Thai wife who cooks this for me all the time which is why I know how to cook this. This version is just not right for several reasons and too far different to what is typical which is why I made my original comment.
@a19841000 There is no 'authentic' recipe, it is a street food with multiple varieties that is very recent historically. Her recipe is as authentic as many others, it has the soy and fish sauces, chillies and basil. That's pretty much the only necessary ingredients.
thank you everyone, yes, now i move to new location , bigger and nicer, if ur guys need more dish , like spicy chicken , please drop by at myrestaurant , 80 ellesmere road ( ellesmere/phamarcy)
fish sauce is key IMO. but with all that bean paste and oyster sauce too it might be too salty. I'd reduce the amount of each so that its just the right salinity
Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)
That isn't how you cook that food.

@graemea67 Yes, that is one way of cooking it. Clearly you are no cook.

@chefcommons do you specialize in linking poor imitations of thai food to your channel or is it just that you haven't got a clue.?
