I love wintersleep, but their penchant is for writing sad, haunting songs. Their entire new album is upbeat, and not as original as songs like "Lipstick" and "Orca".
Wintersleep is amazing, absolutely unreal. Their music makes me feel great, but guys, come on, this new album(considering their previous 3 albums) is a FAILURE!..... I am seeing them in october and I hope to god they only play 3 songs top from their new album!!
These guys have soooo many good songs its unreal! They've been my favorite band for like 4 or 5 years! I could listen to only their music and be completely satisfied! LOVE THESE GUYS!

But they DID write the bulk of it while touring, which may account for why it sucks so much....

@SnazzyArcade Yeah...it just makes me sad that this album got so much more critical acclaim than their first two because of a Juno win.
Murphy has lost the edge on his voice and Campbell's brilliant drumming is given a back stage.
