Again for all of you SCSU haters, the fact the U R visiting this clip of 101 to make or attempt to prove your baseless point says it all. Better yet, the applause from the crowd at this game says it all. It disproves every attempted slight U try 2 make against the 101. I know you can't, don't, or won't accept it, but your almighty SU was outplayed and out performed at this game and the crowd corroborates that. As the SCSU announcer said, if U can't run with the big dogs, stay under the porch.

I don't know what you saw, but SU was no match for the 101 . B1monie and Blakjustice30, you all must be smoking that heavy to acctually believe what SU won this battle. Clinicallysexi, in 2006 at the Getaway, Bethune Cookman touched SU pretty good. You need a little more sexiness from the clinic with that off-base comment.

Before ya'll even left the field the crowd was chanting "A-0"; meaning the real show was soon to began. As for 2006, Bethune got baptised in the water of Jukehood as well.

If you have to tell yourself these lies to keep your ego intact, then by all means do what you do, but fact still remains, the 101won the FREEDOM BOWL battle in 1991 and Bethune Cookman handled SU in 2006 at the GETAWAY CLASSIC. Get over it man, it's okay to grieve after a loss, I get it. But at some point, you have to accept the loss, because that's definitely what it was, and move on. Oh and remember Scrambling, I mean Grambling is in your conference.

This was my first game ever seeing Southern's Band or the Marching 101 of SCSU in person. All I have to say is eventhough the 101 put on a very good show, I was completely awed and impressed with Southerns band.They were on another level sound wise ,execution wise, and the Dancing dolls were phonomenal.This post is coming from someone who is not a supporter of either school.I'm a graduate of one of the A u center schools...

Speak the truth always. The only people that were impressed by "the other school" were the people from that school. Jaguars came to town, showed a dancing band how to drill, then out-performed them. If I never marched for SU I'd be in awe too.

Some folks are never beyond making ignorant comments. This performance back in the early 90s is only one of many stellar performances the Marching 101 has put on over the years. I wondered what the 101 would sound like after Mr. Sarjeant's departure, Mr. Ellis has more than kept the sound made so prominent by Mr. Sarjeant, he has helped the band sustain its prominence among the elite of HBCU college bands by putting his stamp on it. So the "101" dare I say, never lost it's class.
