No, it wasn't. He didn't have a headlock, he had an underhook, which, without a gi is how you perform an uchi mata. An underhook serves the same function as grabbing the collar/high lapel on a gi by controlling their center of gravity. He aso had contorl of the elbow on the other arm to aid swinging the opponent over him as he kicked out the inner thigh to place his opponent's weight higher than his own, thus making his base weak and therefore, he fell over.

lol ive been practicing the uchi mata for one day now at my mixed martial arts class, and that kid has a better uchi mata than i do. for some reason i can't lift people when i do the uchi mata.
@outsidelinebacker99 In our high school wrestling program we have a whole week devoted to nothing but grecco roman wrestling and throws, it helps alot...Try getting your hips under the other guys hip and tighter to them, thenpop your hips up when you throw, that should help
that was a head lock while reaping the leg, not the same thing

GREAT! i remember i had a match against a HWT when ima 215 nd i used uchi mata nd it worked out perfect beat the kid ina minute 1st period.
