  • thanks much for uploading this. My computer has no sound, was that satanite? or any kind of refactory mortor?

  • You should complete your collection and cast a swastika next. Have all the symbols of all the totalitarian dictatorships.

  • @bohun28 and then he should start casting things related to capitalism (and there are many) ... Have all the symbols of all the banks robbing us... Comunism in China, it is still a great country... and hammer and cickle are not marks of totalitarian dictatorship, we in yougoslavia had them on our flags, and we were a great nation.....

  • @Timurv1234

Actually the Hammer and Sickle is as much a symbol of Left Wing Totalitarianism as the Swastika is of Right-Wing Totalitarianism.

China is a great country, sure, they have almost no freedom of speech, they execute the largest number of political prisoners in the world each year, they are consistently in the top five countries for human rights abuses.

Yugoslavia was like the rest of them, what freedom did the people have under Communism?

  • @bohun28I will write some things people had there:When you went to give blood, they would give you a sandwich and a movie ticket, there was not racism, crime was strongly punished, and yet there was all the freedom you could have.Tell me,how could Yugoslavia be like Soviets? You do remember Tito-Stalin split,do you?We fought off the German in same time the"Great"US did,and lets face it,we are a lot smaller.Just because"The Banks"&"The Capitalists"say comunism is bad,it doesn't mean its true!

  • @Timurv1234

No, of course there was no racism or hatred, that's why the Serbs, Croats and Bosnians have been massacring each other since the 1990s, they all love each other!!

Tito and Stalin split up, that doesn't mean Tito provided freedom, any more than Gomulka did in Poland!!

  • @bohun28 now, now, lets not talk shit about our leaders, you don't see me talking about Barack Obama, or somebody else, which ever country you are from... Tito did bring freedom, and if you didn't live in yugoslavia, you cant know it,which is natural...but all that masacre accured after the fall of yugoslavia and 12 years after the death of tito.

  • @Timurv1234

Oh and then of course let's not forget the SS Divisions from Yugoslavia and how much Croatians especially collaborated with the Nazis!! SOME Yugoslavs fought very bravely though, I know that, but I am simply saying that is not the entire picture!!

I know there were some positives in Communism, but mostly just a lack of freedom. And anyway, my comment was in relation to the Hammer and Sickle, which is a symbol that originated in USSR!!

  • @bohun28 well, those "croat yugoslavians" arent yugoslavian at all (we are talking about socialistic yugoslavia). they were from kingdom of yugoslavia and they were called Ustaše and those from serbia were called Chetniks...

  • @Timurv1234

And the historical record is very clear, Lenin and Stalin have a lot of blood on their hands!! Stalin especially!! He murdered more people than Hitler did!! And yet to use his symbol today is perfectly ok, even cool, but to use the Swastika (even if it is reversed, which is an ancient Vedic symbol for peace!!!) it is seen as evil and is illegal in some places (Germany, Austria).

  • @bohun28 I ain't talking bout Stalin and Lenin, I am talking bout comunism and capitalism, and yes,it's well known about Stalin, but swastikas, i am always telling people that if hitler used swastika, doesn't mean he invented it. But still today swastika is used by many as a representation of nazism...

  • @bohun28 And one thing:As you know, slavery is considered a thing of ancient history, feudalism a thing of middle ages, capitalism a thing of modern history, and socialism a thing of contemporary history...Comunism is still not reached by dull people of the present. And all this comunism we are talking about is actually socialism, and we are still in capitalistic society.and if you thing capitalism is better than soicalism and comunism than you are american and we all know what americans are

  • Hey, can that hammer and cickle also be cast with the letters USSA?

  • @youtubinwizeass

    United States of South Africa?

  • Comment removed

  • cool vid...should have showed the finished piece though

  • Cool vid but what kind of blocks are you using? Also what kind of cup is holding the brass? Thanks

  • he is probably from former yugoslavia not russia

    serbian or croat

  • what kind of gas is it? propane?

  • There was a second brass casting video from those guys, it was much better, and they made a much larger quantity of metal. Does anyone have that video, or knows where to find it?

  • @gummiman01 russians are like macguiver.

  • You guys are awesome. Keep up the great work.

  • damn russians...

  • In soviet Russia, brass casts you.

  • The music i recognize from lemmings. one of the levels. lol

  • nothing about this looked safe

  • nice cast a communism symbol you dirty commy

  • this dude's a skin graph waiting to happen

  • I'm about your age, and have done all of this with iron.

FOR GOD'S SAKE PUT OF GLASSES OF SOME SORT!!

Eyes are delicate. ALSO! I like the weed burner turned forge, I did that EXACT same thing!!!

  • 0:58 instant puberty

  • what did he say at the start? was it plaster he mixed to make the mold?

  • Just to let everyone know, before anyone puts the casting in water, one needs to let it solidify first. If you mix molten metals with water = bomb.

  • spacebo

  • great job, thanks for posting

  • r u guys bosnian or somthing

  • @TheUV123 They're commies cuz they have the hammer and sickle

  • @toadsEATbugs lol im goin to pretend i didnt laugh at the hehe

  • I would have been nice to see the finished product.

  • windows welcome song.

  • That was Pretty cool. Did you use a propane torch?

  • Very good video, Well done....but you really need to invest in a full face shield to protect your face when doing this sort of work due to the high temperatures involved in melting metal :)

  • What is that cup made out of? The one you use to put in the materials (copper, zinc)

  • what are those block u are using

  • The music of all things..... is Windows Xp Mini Setup music... o well

  • yay for russia

  • what kind of gas we can use? can we use cooking gas from natural gas ?

  • Great vid, man, but be careful so that you don't burn your faces off!

Your t-shirt really gave a clue on what type of symbol you were producing ^^

  • I lmao when I saw what you casted out.

  • Awesome video. But try to be more safe please :D

  • wonderful video !!!! I liked it very much, it is just awsome ! I am trying to make a hommade foundry to create brass sculptures, for that this will help me. Keep the good job continued instead of the stupid things young kids do and waste their time. I apriciate your work.

  • As another commentor said its good to see youngsters doing something like this and not just sitting on the ps3 ect,but beleive the safety comments a mate of mine lost his sight in an aliminium casting accident, its no joke to lose your sight is it?

Get some proper safety gear asap, and dont lean over the furnace for any reason.

  • That's really awesome! I did think that brass was copper and tin though.. I guess it's just a different alloy. I really love your accents! And what kind of bricks are those?

  • Thats really good......But also dangerous....But still thanks for the video.

  • I've worked in the foundry for 30 years, I never heard music like this though. Making something like this we would use greensand and it would be quite boring, never heard music like this though. Through ten's of thousands of moulds I've made and poured throughout those thirty years, I've never poured ONE without a faceshield and sleeves. If you want to end up looking like Nikki Lauda, keep up the bad work, still, never heard music like that though!

  • The music is from Windows XP installation (when registering the OS in the end of the installation)

  • @NobblerBC Enough with the constant babbling of music, lol!

  • JEEZ!!!..I know its good your getting involved..BUT!,SAFTEY!,Molten brass can fukin blind you,it is very, very hot and can burn through your gardening gloves your hand and your foot!!!

  • sweet vid man. thinking about casting a pair of brass knucks but all i have is a blowtorch. I dont know where to get a crucible. Will a blow torch work for casting brass?

  • Good job, but absolutely oblivious to safety standards! Not to point out the above comments, but did you REALLY lean over the kiln to turn off the heat source? You're liable to kill yourself!

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the background music please? cheers

  • Huh anyone ever try useing brass or any other metal too use in a .223 since lead cannot be used at thos temps that you get with a .223? if so please reply I would Love too know how too cast good .223 rounds.

  • Its good to see people your age getting involved and into this sort of stuff. Shame about all this bloody health and safety in this modern day world. Especially in the UK.

  • Man oh man- I cannot believe you lifted a glowing crucible with just gloves and pliers! Cool vid, but man, be careful!!!

  • The adult that showed you to do it like this , should be slapped

  • you should be slapped

  • for all that work in doing this and in the editing that takes a long time: 2 problems. 1. not a word about safety. 2 not showing the end result

  • pretty good but dont you think you should at least honour all of us who watched this vid all the way through by showing us the fucking result???? plus you need to get some proper tools my friend cos what you did just looked bloody dangerous, youre gonna injure yourself oneday

  • That is not safe. Did you use pliers to lift the red-hot crudible? XD.

Take some more caution or you'll lose things you are going to miss.

  • great video mate

  • Wow awesome video. Looks very dangerous! take care.

  • Wow,that look very dangerous!

    Take Care of you..

  • nice furnace setup in fact thats a good use for a torch

  • eat feces and die you commie pigs

  • whats this guy done to you, thats the reason everyone fuckin hates yanks, your stupidity and arrogancy is scary

  • Idiot, the zinc fumes will build up in your body and poison you

  • Actually Emperor thats not exactly true, the studies of brass workers show that when exposed to LARGE amounts of zinc fumes they can sometimes suffer from whats been called Brass Man Fugue. You get the shakes for a couple hours and a fever. After that there are no ill effects. So again OSHA and other parties have made us believe a mole hill is a mountain.

  • That's pretty cool! Now I just have to figure out where to get copper and zinc, haha.

  • good video assuming you don't speak english

    5/5

  • what kinda blocks and were to buy?

  • Those are firebricks, get them at a place that sells fireplaces/stoves.

  • and what is this materials for suport the high temperature? and how about the temperature of this furnice?

  • hi =-D (nice vid)... isp ossible do the same with glass??? or need more power?

  • whats the title of the song???

    please tell me!!!

  • its the music you hear the first time windows XP is almost installed.

if you have XP, you can find the file by going to:

(HDD drive letter XP is installed on)
