with beautiful music like this no one ever gaines weight. It was so hard to keep still. We woke up to this on the radio - disco92 played this. We dances brushing our teeth then at lunch time then after school. Nowa days the music sucks! I don't dance anymore and I'm fat! I think next week I'm going to go to a dance school to at least hustle again. I miss these days of great music. Thanks for posting and the great music history of this song.

If he wasn't dancing to Grace Jones and Gloria Gaynor in the disco's in the late 70's, GREG MAY was dancing to "Come Into My Heart" and "Baby Love" by the USA/European Connection. Remember their "Do You Want To Get Closer?" That one was used in a toothpaste commercial.

@musicboynyc, I went to Ice Palace 57, but it was in the early 80s. Gino Soccio's Remember was big. So was Nona Hendryx's Keep It Confidential. Great club. All the Fifth Avenue rich straight kids came to dance with the gay guys!

Back in the 70's, when I was a Disco DJ, I used to play this song to death. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

For my own personal taste, as a DJ, I loved and preferred to play the Eurodisco, exclusively!

But, inevitably, someone from the crowd would always come up to me and say, "Hey Man, play Brickouse!"

BPM's right out the window; it was all over!
