Guys I just noticed a characteristic about this collapse. At 0:34, when the collapse starts, notice that the very bottom of the top portion (the part that starts to fall) of the building is the crush zone. You can see from :34 to :36 that the top part of the building is falling, and that the the very bottom of this top part is being crushed. Also note that the bottom portion of the building is not being crushed at all during this period. This seems to negate the pancake collapse theory.

This tower collapsed first because there were 25 floors above the weakening steel beams where the plane hit. You can see the upper floors falling as a unit into the damaged floors below. The other tower collapsed second because there were only 11 floors above the weakened beams. The fire had to burn longer and the beams had to weaken more before they lost the strength to support the top 11 floors.
Some people say that it was a controlled demolition because it fell straight down, but that can't be right because at 0:37 you can see it start to roll over.

the structural steel in the building has whats known as "fire proofing" on it to prevent damage like this.... the impact of the plane blew the fireproofing off exposing the steel to the flames ,WEAKENING the steel NOT breaking it, causing it to lose its strength and fail. as the weight of the top collapsed, the building was no longer structually sound therefore it could not support the weight EVEN for a second

Part of the basement was blown when the plane hit (both towers). The shaking at :21 is from the "sub-basement" explosion where a "new" elevator generator had been installed for the "new" express elevators in 2000. It was so powerful it showed up on the Richter scale in the two's for each tower. Those explosions, dwarfed the reading from 1993. The actual collapse of the towers barely registered.

It would not be a controlled demolition,, because when it would be, the bombs would go of from below. Now people say the bombs would go of from the highest point. That won't be true because controlled demolition experts always put the bombs on the lowest level of the building. than it collapses with his own weight. The 2nd plane flewed in much lower, it collapses earlyer. That's because it has more weight above the fire.

This tower collapsed first because there were 25 floors above the weakening steel beams where the plane hit. You can see the upper floors falling as a unit into the damaged floors below. The other tower collapsed second because there were only 11 floors above the weakened beams. The fire had to burn longer and the beams had to weaken more before they lost the strength to support the top 11 floors.

hey, look atr the 0:29, when that fume columne begins from the top of the tower, I remember when that happened in LIVE, i said to my mom: "Mom, now this 1 will collapse" just because I saw the heavy hume wich came out from the top of the tower, poor victims... It is very puzzling to see the tower being shaked like this at 0:21, a couple of seconds before it collapses... I'm not saying that a controlled demolition was used, I'm just basing my reasoning on what I see... It's even more puzzling to see people falling from the right side of the building (0:25), right when the camera's shaking (look carefully at the bottom right corner of the screen, the right face of the tower)

@PierreRHCPfan06 That's the camera shaking, not the Tower. Anyway, a fact not many people know is that near the top, the Towers would sway as much as 3 feet due to high winds (and as a result, sometimes the Observation Platform on top where visitors could go would close)

It looks nothing alike, CD's don't spread rubble in an area 9 times the buildings combined footprints. They are not quiet and they actually do collapse at free fall, unlike the WTC. They don't leave pools of molten metal(contrary to what twoofs claim), they don't display signs of structural weakening before their collapse, etc. There's more if you bother searching.

the building isn't as strong as they say it is, only the top floors fell initially. You can see that below the fire the building did not move until all of the top portion came crashing down on it. therefore those few floors took down the rest of the building. strong steal mesh my ass.

the structural steel in the building has whats known as "fire proofing" on it to prevent damage like this.... the impact of the plane blew the fireproofing off exposing the steel to the flames ,WEAKENING the steel NOT breaking it, causing it to lose its strength and fail. as the weight of the top collapsed, the building was no longer structually sound therefore it could not support the weight EVEN for a second

Part of the basement was blown when the plane hit (both towers). The shaking at :21 is from the "sub-basement" explosion where a "new" elevator generator had been installed for the "new" express elevators in 2000. It was so powerful it showed up on the Richter scale in the two's for each tower. Those explosions, dwarfed the reading from 1993. The actual collapse of the towers barely registered.

It would not be a controlled demolition,, because when it would be, the bombs would go of from below. Now people say the bombs would go of from the highest point. That won't be true because controlled demolition experts always put the bombs on the lowest level of the building. than it collapses with his own weight. The 2nd plane flewed in much lower, it collapses earlyer. That's because it has more weight above the fire.
I don't believe the buildings where taking down by explosives

ferdilindeb is correct in bringing up more weight being applied from the lower wound, however, why is it the CTers (that is the "official version") completely disregard Newton when it comes to the entire mass of the towers below these wounds. What happened to "inertia"? His laws were completely chucked out the window and he began spinning in his grave... and of course without any resistance since, he's still spinning.
