    lm glad you know that the fastfood is whats putting on the weight it may taste good but its really bad stuff your way to small for that surgery with exercise and good diet you'll lose weight in no time goodluck sweety your doing really good keep it up :)

    If you ever want to get together and talk about weight loss and share stories, please let me know. I use to weigh 260lbs!! I'm 180lbs right now and my goal weight is 130lbs.

    I've always been overweight and over 2 years I got up to 260lbs and I was only like 17. I'll be 19 this month and I want to be able to be healthy, so pleeeeease keep in touch!

  • That sounds like my exact story. Of course I am older than you, but over a couple years I got up to 262 pounds! I weigh 188 right now and want to get to 130. We will for sure have to keep in touch! You can be my weight loss bff! LOL

  • I am following a low calorie diet of about 1200-1300 calories per day. I am exercising regularly and doing some weight training.

  • i was in the same mind set with the WLS... i actually went to an informative meeting [though my doctor said the same thing to me] and and sobbed in my car after it was over. it was so hard to admit to myself that i was so out of control!

    you've lost so much weight so far, and it sounds like you're doing really well! keep it up :)

  • I think you have a great doctor. Having gastric bypass would have just be putting a band aid on a large wound. I think it is great that you have made all of these changes in your life. Keep up the good work. I'm really looking forward to watching you make tomorrow better than today. :)
