First off....its not illegal. There are no LAWS regarding this type of flying, and no authority to uphold them if there were laws. The AMA is a organization that offers insurance coverage to pilots. AMA regulations state that you cannot touch a plane in flight. This is not law, but if you violate it, they will likely deny any insurance claim resulting from such action.

The video demonstrates lack of safety, but not violation of any law.

Be safe and dont try this at home.

Yeah, I fly a trainer. A turbine trainer that costs three times more than that 50cc aerobat those two guys are twirling above there head. In the U.S., you need a turbine waiver in order to fly a jet. That's why I was on a buddy box. Why don't you stick to posting wedding videos and not comment on RC airplanes cause it's something you obviously know very little about.

This stuff is happening in Brazil.They don't have the crap that we have here with the PC police,and lawyers all trying to have a perfect safe little world.Just think for a minute if the RX or servos fail and that 28" prop ends up decapitating one of these guys. I could care less but when it shows up on Fox news, we all got problems. BTW, I enjoy 3D just as much as jets but the only plane I get that close to is my Airfoilz Yak. The gas stuff I keep a safe distance from.

It's an uncalculatable risk...imagine the wind. The electronics could have a malfunction.

I don't even do this with a 150 gramm Indoormodel. even with those ones you can destroy your face with the prop, and this actually happened!
