Lorenzo is so right about the phrasing (fraseggio). I cannot think of a Verdi Baritone who has ever phased more beautifully or interestingly. I've been a Gavanelli fan since singing in Nabucco with him a few years back.

a great interpretation...really moving...a prayer....some high notes are not perfect but the fraseggio is irresistible!!Thanks getschi007
