dang you got alot of hammies.. maybe you should give them a break from breeding.. they are probably exhausted.. i had a male and female a few yrs back i bred them ONCE for about 2 or 3 minutes and 16 days later i had 19 babies.. that was enough.. i am excited :) I just got a new hammy about 4 or 5 days ago. I'm still trying to tame her.. her name is FiFi :)

well no,, it doesnt have deformed,, its not in their genes to have a deformed baby ,, but in some case they have this instinct that they wouldnt mate with their bro and sis,, they know whom to bred with different bloodline,,

@WxShAoRaNxW sorry. but ide have to disagree. brothers and sisters will mate. and deformed hamsters do exist. But if they are inbred they wont be deformed.. but there are some hamsters where their genes just dont mix and then some come out deformed. (missing a limb, missing an eye, etc)

sorry for the late reply,, when the mother hamster gave birth your male should be separated ,, and your mom should be remain on her house,, do not try to view the mother hamster,, it will cause too much stress and will try to abondon her child,, resulting death to the babies,

have a cage, and with woodshavings,, after just let them be with each other,, all of them,, sometimes later they will mate,,

and after that their babies can live with each other when they are old enough like 6 weeks,,

they would not fight ,

but remember when the mother hamster gave birth,, father hamster should be separated to the mama hamster

Honestly i dont wonder if your hamsters die often if you always keep them that small cages, they dont have enough space to move, no any toys or anything, if you keep them only temporarily in those cages, then its maybe ok, but if always, then not good. Actually my hamster lives 4x bigger cage than the smallest of those.

Well, in here they have big cages also when pregnant, i think its not necessary to keep them in small cages when pregnant, they just need good cover to feel safe, its easy to make also to bigger cage. In my opinion those small cages are just horrible, even biggest one looks small.

Those cages looks very very small, i hope they dont live always that small places, in my country common recommendation is 2x bigger than that. Also syrian hamsters should live alone, but those cages are much too small.

no better to breed is when they are 6 months you can separate them or just put them together,,, and btw... you cant breed siblings,, it will cause deformities on the babies,, but nahhh deformities not happen on hamster,, :) and also when your hamster get birth never ever make the mother disturb,, or make her stressed,, can cause baby to be eaten... :) also when she gave birth you dont need to separate the babies because of their gender,,, also if you are breeding you must have 2 pair unrelated

4 months female is perfect age to breed. Some do it earlier, but I think it's wrong cause she's still a baby herself. Male does not have to be the same age. It's not really that hard for the males, just one night of work, so they can do it younger or older than females.

no you dont seperate them when they got older they will not grow bigger anymore their maximum size is only 4-6 inch depending on the genetics when the mother is pregnant or having a baby the father will help her but sometimes when the father is hungry he will eat the baby so the best way is make them seperate when the girl is pregnant

hmmm syrians are kinda aggressive but u should put them together before there maturing age... so there maturing age is 6 months therefore below 6 months your syrian hamster should be put together and if urs are old already put them together and when you saw them fighting or kinda wrestling and when you didnt hear any voice of them saying eeeekkk!! eeek! that means it is only playing not fighting but make sure u look at them... if u see blood its time to separate them
