hi i have a question, when i started windows, i dont have bootcamp on there, is it possible if i just copy the boot camp folder off my mac partition and transfer it over to use it? as i dont have the CD either :(

@Kuifung You can change that in the setting on your mac, or when you are in windows in the bootcamp icon in the lower right corner of your screen

@thetigertek I did this, and when i had the option of Mac OS or Windows, i clicked windows. but once i did that, the screen went black & had a white underscore in the top left corner "bleeping" on/off (for lack of a better term)

@thetigertek Hi, I am installing windows 7 ultimate on my Mac! Mainly for gaming...should I install 32 bit or 64? Since the majority of the games do not work on 64 because of its compability! Some people say that 64 is better. Now I am bewildered!

@marinhofrancisco 64 bit is better but if the games you are looking to play don't support 64 bit I would go with 32 bit.

@shortthunder6 You can't use mac and windows at once simultaneously after installing windows using bootcamp. You can only run one OS at a time. If you want to run both at the same time u would have install Windows using Vmware but this would slow ur computer a bit when running both os at the same time. Hope that helps

I tried to install Windows Xp in bootcamp, and now my screen is frozen when it tells me to press "r". I cant click any key or mouse.... and I cant eject the CD because it didnt start yet

hey tiger. i appreciate all of the videos, they have been a lot of help. quick question: i left my installation disc at a friend's house and he took it by mistake , so is there another way to download the drivers instead of the installation disc? and could you point me in the right direction?

a funny thing happened to me me when I first bought my mac (I've never used mac before),,,I needed bootcamp coz I have to work on AutoCad,, so I asked the store to install it for me,,when I got home and turned it on windows opened!!! I freaked out and thought that they deleted the mac system and installed windows instead xD and I started crying!!! then I called my friend who also bought a mac a couple of days ago and when she told me about the Option key I was like o0 oh!

i wanted to install win 7, started bootcamp and tried to do a partitio...BUT...there is an error: could not do it because some data could not be removed (i live in germany so i dont know what it is like in english) and it wants me to do a backup on a hard disk, format my macintosh hd (system) and put the backup on the mac again...is there aany other thing that i can do ? i dont have a hard disk...actually i know one who has got one but i have to format that one too... :S thx

@giovannierivera exactly. I've had experiences with 2000-ish to 2004-ish mac users saying that Emacs was a computer, when in fact that was eMacs. Emacs is a UNIX/Unix-like text editor (In Mac, it's text-based; In Linux, it's graphical.) But even thought Emacs was good, it was bloated (It had hidden games like tetris or pong.)

hey if i remove my windows patrician using boot cam , is it will remove all particion from my mac . eg. i have created 1 partion as my drive . so now i have 3 drives 1) Machinates HD, 2) My Drive , 3) Drive created by boot cam for win.. ? what's about driver for win in mac book

@hpatel1341 Install the drivers using the Application Disc that came with your Mac. Not the OS cd but the other cd. When you insert the disc while your in Windows it should read the disc and prompt you with the installation process. Hope that helps. Thanks for the sub!
