She's a very talented singer, but I'm just not feeling this rendition. I think it's too "big" for my taste. I'll always prefer this type of intimate song as sung with subtlety and one instument accompaniment.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess. She does have a very nice, strong voice though; I just don't think it's for this song
The lyrics says: "There are places I remember ALL my life..." instead of "...I remember IN my life..." as she sings. It makes totally difference.

There's something in her voice that reminds me of Judy Collins (and that's a good thing) :)

I agree. It's almost a meditative song, and Barbara doesn't get that. Aside from the Beatles I think Judy Collins did the best rendition.
